We did Progresso and Cozumel on the Triumph a year ago. Did the Dzibchaltun ruins and cenote in Progresso and my daughter did the dolphin swim at Chankanaab while the rest of us went snorkeling. I would recommend all of it! The ruins and cenote were a last second decision and I'm so glad we did. I was skeptical about that port after reading other reviews, but it was great. It was our first cruise so not much to compare the ship to, but again, we were pleased. I know it's been to dry dock since then, so it should be even better now!

Just curious if you decided what to do? My family will be on the Dream in February and have kids of similar ages. I would have written my own post, but it would be exactly the same as yours lol. Also not wanting to spend a ton of money on ship excursions, but concerned about attempting something on our own.

We went to Chankanaab last year with a group of 9 and had no trouble getting a taxi to and from.
