We’ve done this several times in the past. Your boarding pass will be enough. I don’t remember what time the Havana bar opens though.

Well I’m not sure- we boarded as a group into 2 vans- same type of van when we left. May have been taxis but we didn’t pay a fare.

Carnival excursion-it was 30$ each in August, booked it for 40$ each for May, and now it sits at 45$ each. Includes transportation

We went there in August- really enjoyed the water. Nice pool. We had some nachos and a couple drinks, if I remember right it was reasonable. Other activities available onsite- snorkeling, zip line, massages. What’s really nice is you can grab a shuttle back anytime you want. We have booked this again for May.

My husband is type one diabetic. No problem bringing all his supplies on board. Let your room steward know if you need a sharps container.

On the vista having my last guys burger. Having been on vista pre Covid, and in July of this year, I’d say we are at 80% even with the last minute cancellations. Havana bartenders are Jose and Percy. 95% of passengers are complying with the indoor mask mandate. Not really a big deal. Masks on in all ports- in roatan we were able to take them off on the excursion bus. But in Belize we actually had a policeman on board wore masks the whole time. Good news! Starting to disembark!

My cruise was canceled yesterday. I called this morning around 8am, answered right away. I spent about 45 minutes getting rebooked for next May. So sad to miss my summer vacation this year, but kinda excited for my first b2b next May!

We sailed on the Freedom March 17. We had fttf and were onboard by 11:15. Our friends had a 12:30 check in time, and got onboard at 11:58 (I just checked the time on the text) YMMV

We stayed on the panorama deck in march. Loved it! So close to everything. I didn't feel any movement in our cabin. Actually, the only time I ever felt movement was while sitting in the casino (deck 5)

Just got back from our first cruise on the freedom. Got a tip on here to use a casino players card. I had 2 copies, already hole-punched. My DH and I both had one- worked fine for us.

We just got back from our cruise. Visited Mr. Sanchos on Monday-had a great time! You have your table for the entire day, loungers are first come- we had no problems grabbing a couple anytime we needed. Food & drinks were great- our waiter brought my husband two beers at a time! Sand is rough- wear water shoes. We got a locker for the camera and money, 10$ refundable deposit. We left everything else at our table. I would definitely return.

Thanks for all the advice. We will probably eat at the beach before getting on the bus/van - 78 days to go!

Good morning! Taking our first cruise in March - so excited! These boards have been very helpful. We have booked a shore excursion in Roatan ( mahogany bay) that doesn't start until 12:30. We would like to hang at the beach for a couple of hours, then grab some lunch to eat during the 30 minute travel time. Is this frowned upon? Are "to go" options available? I know I can't take food of the ship, just wanted to grab something easy from a restaurant (no nachos!)
Thanks for any help!

We will be on that cruise! First one for us- we will be on level 10 w/balcony. Hope you can find the room you need!

We are booked for the 12/23 cruise- I was hoping the kinks would be worked out before our cruise. I’m still pretty excited . Just hoping there isn’t a second delay!
