@edfrak  tell me about it ... we're booked on the 12/4 which was to be the U.S. "inaugural" ... then came the late added 12/1 "inaugural" bumping us to v2.0 ... and now Princess is having the christening on the 12/7 cruise ...

We are on the Sky cruise Dec 7....what do they do for the christening?

Can you recommend a hotel that won't break the bank for 12/6.   Ty

We stayed at Hotel Morrison last January for 3 nites pre cruise and 1 nite post cruise.  ($158 nite) on Priceline.  Great hotel...nice pool area, great free breakfast and lobby bar with great Happy Hour.  Free shuttle from airport to hotel and visa versa.

shuttle to cruise port was $10 each

great dining spots nearby...Jackson’s, Tarks(cheap beer and wings happy hour)

hop on Breeze bus outside hotel if you want to go to Gulfstream Racetrack

This Dec cruise on Sky we are staying  at Wyndham Garden Ft Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port. Just for a change as we used Alaska mikes to book.

    Hope this helps

Click on the blue dot (or star) at the front of the thread title.  If the dot/star is dark blue there have been responses on that thread since the last time you looked.  If the dot/star is pale blue there have been no new responses since the last time you looked.

Alternatively, if you want to go directly to the last post (most recent one), in the right hand column, click on the date listed there (under the last poster's name)

    Thanks!

My wife will be happy to see escargot on the menu which hasn’t been available on our recent cruises.

We haven’t had escargot since our first cruise in 2010.  Is this available for traditional time dining and anytime dining?  Thanks for all the info...6 more weeks till we cruise.

If you purchase "up to four devices", then you get a logon credential that may be used on  four devices simultaneously: yours, hers, the guy's across the hall, and a random passer-by.

So if I choose “up to four devices” plan i can use my iPad and my husband can use his?  Would we have different log ins?  Would we need to be using our devices at same time.  Confused as no one person Would need to use 4 devices

  10. Just looking into packages for Sky Princess in December.

Website says C$129 unlimited which it says is 50% less than purchasing on board.  This is for one device I assume.

option 2.  C$19.49 per day 4 devices per day(which I assume BOTH spouses could use their own devices on this plan??). This is also unlimited

we each have $300 on board credit but Princess said cannot use the OBC for medallion unless purchased on board.

i am wondering if this price is really 50% less than if you purchase on board.  We have just usually used our free platinum minutes.?

    thanks

I'm sure this has been asked many times but do you book with airline direct or use Ez air and more importantly why?

    Thanks in advance.

I never use EZ air.  We always use Alaska MasterCard and use the annual companion fare for $100 plus taxes.  Just checked for December..$4333 Cdn on EZ air and $1700 Cdn on booking direct with Alaska

Does anyone know if we can use the same card or do we need to buy a second one on the trip back? Thanks

On our cruise in Jan 2019 we booked as a 14 day and my coffee card carried over for full cruise

  13. We have used anytime dining on our  6 cruises and have never had any issues with maître d or getting a time.  Once we found out you could call at 8am and make a reservation that’s what we did and that was for a table of 2.  We enjoy anytime dining and will continue with it.

  14. I tried to book yesterday with the $1 deposit and kept getting error after all info put in, therefore  I was unable to get the cabin I had selected and ended up getting one that will be assigned prior to departure.

BA is the category.   Had wanted  balcony cabin midship.  Does this now mean it will be a balcony but will be a balcony anywhere?  Have never had to do this.  Can I call and see if I can get a cabin assigned?   Thanks for any replies.
