  1. I recently purchased the $100 photo package for our cruise this month. Even though there are two of us in the room, you only pay $100 total...not per person. I am traveling with our adult kids in another cabin and I intend on taking photos with them and having this included in my package. We will find out if I am successful and I will report back after our vacation.

Follow up question on this. I am prepaying for my March cruise now, but when I select the photo package, it is giving me bullets to select for both myself and my husband. Are you saying I only need to select one of us and that will cover both of us? I understand that's a yes, if we appear together in photos.

But what if we take individual shots? If I select the package for myself, for example, will individual pics of the hubs show up in our portfolio? We found, on our last cruise, that we did have some individual shots so just wanted to clarify that.

    Thanks!

  2. I bought some but I didn't like them. I'm pretty small, so for me - one complete outfit (every piece) to a gallon size ziplock bag. Each night I take it out, use Downy wrinkle release and let it steam in the shower. When I take off my dirty clothes, they go right back in a zip lock and directly in my suitcase. I hang anything I'm wearing twice. One outfit for each day, 2 extra outfits (in case), and 3 bags for swimwear.

My formal wear and dresses go in a garment bag, typically, unless they fold and pack easily, to minimize wrinkles.

I've used this method for years and it works best for me. And squeezing all the air out of those ziplocks leaves me TONS of room in my suitcase for the important girly things I need. Hubs says I always bring more toiletries than clothes and he could be right. I just like "my" stuff. LOL

  3. So, cancel your cruise and go somewhere you are more comfortable.

Having said that, and not to be ornery, but safes are provided for a reason. People are people and everyone does bad things sometimes. You did by leaving your phone accessible even though there are warnings to lock up all your valuables and not leave them unattended.

The caller also did by choosing to pick up your unsecured/unlocked phone and using it.

I hope MSC does reverse those charges for you so that you will feel better. However, I also think it's somewhat unfair for you to blame an entire cruise line for this when you freely admit that you did not secure your phone. Of course, I work in IT and we hear this stuff all the time. It is incredibly hard to deal with charge reimbursement and I always wonder how people are not concerned with their personal items. It reminds me of back in the day when I worked as an order agent and when I'd ask for a CC number, the amount of people who'd need to "run to their car to get it" was astounding. I could never understand why someone would leave a credit card in their vehicle.

Anyway, this is not a slam to you. But I do hope it is a lesson learned for you and if it makes you feel better, choose a different line. But always secure that phone because everyone in the world is not you. And many in the world will freely take what is offered.
