  1. On the same sailing and agree.  If anything, put the towels last so it’s not so anticlimactic!  Always grateful for the “free” cabin so I can decide how much to spend in the casino, and a gift is a gift I supposeas I would gamble anyway because I enjoy it.  Got the Ultra for an interior that opens for us on 12/4 so may take advantage of that as well if the dates work out!  Not sure I’m buying Dion’s explanation to you, just saying!  I enjoy Carnival even if I’m loyal to a fault.  Happy sailing!

  2. I know the Premier cruises are very crowded. I am hoping the Premier Plus is not as bad. The offer was sent by email. Hopefully, not as many invites.

Hi! I don't take my Plus until November on Conquest, but I've heard 50 cabins max, and lots of themed activities. Everything else is typical Premier. Again, that's just what I've heard. Looking forward to your review when you return! Good luck and calm seas!!

  3. We are booked in a free balcony for the Premier Plus also on the Conquest, Nov. 24th. Excited to see what all is involved in the "Plus" part of a Premier besides fewer guests (which I think is AWESOME)! Doesn't seem to be a lot of confirmed info out there, although I have heard various rumors not worth repeating. Looking forward to our sailing and some casino fun!

  4. Getting ready for our first Premier at the end of August. Here is my question if anyone knows. Do they do the drawings the same as the regular drawings? Specifically, every Premier guests' name goes in the hat for every 100 points you have or is it just that you're a Premier guest and your name is in the hat to be drawn same as everybody else's? I hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance!

As for the earlier question, I still have the Dealer's Choice through Aug, 23rd, some Premiers that came out not too long ago through Sept 12 and a free balcony for Premier Plus on a limited number of sailings through(I think) August 16. Took advantage of that sucker ;)

  5. I got the same email, but just today (I'm further down the food chain :) Just curious, what makes it a Premier Plus? I've done regular Premiers before, and have a couple booked, but nothing "Plus". Is this just an indication there will be extra drawings or theme nights perhaps? Booked the last balcony on the Conquest for the week after Thanksgiving! Thanks in advance for any extra info. I was so excited I forgot to ask when I was on the phone ;)

  6. I did get an offer today in my email--it said "urgent-free room" It was specifically for the may 6th breeze sailing and said it was from the new players club. The offer was for a free balcony room.

Unfortunately I could not jump on that, but was happy to see they sent a decent offer, haven't had one in a few years.

I got the same offer with code SURPRISE, but since I live in ORLANDO, arranging all of that travel in 4 days is simply not an option, nor is it worth the trouble.

  7. I can see the Dealer's Choice in my offers online. Looks identical to the casino offers that expired on the 26th of April. Like, EXACTLY the same except for a later expiration date and cruises through December, 2020. Have to wait for email to find out how much the casino cash will be, but guessing it's the same as last month's offer. I did also receive a "last minute" offer just a little bit ago in my email for a free Balcony on the Breeze out of Galveston leaving May 6th. Not really an option since I live in Florida, but nice to know they were thinking of me :). Hopefully a sign of better things to come!

  8. My question is this. I have been sailing on Carnival exclusively for some years now (sailed NCL once in 2009 - I won a sales contest), and I usually get pretty nice offers from them based on my play discounted or comped rooms, casino cash in addition to other perks. I was thinking of trying NCL out again as it seems Carnival is lacking in certain amenities etc. I was curious if CAS offers any discounts or other offers to entice me to make the leap. I get comp offers from urcomped, but never see NCL as an option. I didn’t know if it was possible for one program to “rate” me based on casino time/$$ from another line or if there was information I could provide for them to do so. Seems like a long shot but just thought I would see if anyone had any experience like this.

Thank you in advance and make it a great day!

  9. Did a short 4nt on the Paradise with my daughter (had a blast) on a BB offer from last October. We were VERY well taken care of. Cookies, DOU card, Champagne and free steak upgrade in the dining room. Had around 8,000 points when it was all said and done. Last night of the cruise got an offer for "Cruise Play Repeat" to expire 14 days later. Basically $100 for an inside, get $100 OBC, but didn't book as I was looking at Premiere and still have to work for a living so I have to be crafty with my vacation time :). These are the current offers for me:

    • Exclusive Carnival Players Club® Premier Cruises offer
    • Invitation Only: Available on select Premier sailings
    • Rate code PC9 will be automatically applied at checkout

Booked the Sunshine for August 31st, 8 day. Casino cash - $600

    • Exclusive Carnival Players Club® Premier Getaway Cruises offer
    • Invitation Only: Available on Premier Getaway Cruises
    • Rate code P6V will be automatically applied at checkout

VERY few sailings and only into May, so hoping they update soon for Summer/Fall dates. $450 casino cash available

    And lastly,

    • Available on a wide variety of sailings through April 30, 2020
    • Enjoy Casino Cash + up to $500 off Fun Select with Casino Rates
    • Rate code PTC will be automatically applied at checkout

Casino cash is $125, but not much of a discount on the rooms when you really look at it. Doubt I'll book one of these but you never know :)

I think this thread is a great idea! Thank you for posting and good luck!

  10. Does anyone know how many Premier guests are allotted for each available cruise? I am booked on an August 2018 sailing and was curious how many Premier sailors are typically on board. P.S. Super excited for our cruise even though it's still 6 months away and hoping for an Ultra offer after for Spring 2019clear.png?emoji-smile-1742
