  1. Hi, just a question about the iced tea that they serve both in the main dining room and in the Freestyle Machines. Is this Nestea? or something different.

When travelling to Florida in the past, we always packed a case because when we got there they didn't have it. I know they have sweet tea but I have read on here that people say they offer lemonade and iced tea.

    TIA

  2. Hi, not new to cruising but new to Carnival. I was wondering for anyone that has been on the Vista in a balcony stateroom is there a walking area or track below the balconies possibly a few floors down or is your balcony right over the water?

  3. Hi all, I am just in the process in booking the Horizon--Havana stateroom. It says that kids need to be a minimum of 12 years old. I am going in March and my daughter turns 12 in August. Do you think they will allow it since she is close in age or will they say no and our room get changed at the last minute?

  4. Buying OBC is a better idea than buying a gift certificate since your daughter would have to apply the gift certificate prior to sailing. OBC will be on the account and yes, a notice should be in the cabin saying that there is an OBC. We got OBC as a surprise gift from my mom for our anniversary and there was a notice on the desk.

    That's great! Thx

  5. If you are speaking of the woman who owns a flower shop near Port Canaveral, that service was discontinued to Royal Caribbean ships years and years ago. You haven't been allowed to send booze and gifts to the ships for a very long time. You can only buy things directly from the cruise line.

Thanks for the update. That is exactly who I was speaking about. It was okay with Disney a few years back.

Do you think its possible to buy more through their customer service number? I'm Canadian and I can't even buy my daughter a gift certificate.

  6. Hi, I am new to RCCL but have cruised with Disney before. To me the gift section is lacking. With Disney there was a lady (Shirley) who did gift baskets to the ship and it would end up in our stateroom. Has anyone ever had a gift delivered to their stateroom on the first day? Did it arrive okay? What info do you need on it?

    Thx

  7. Op where is your cruise embarking from? I am on tapatalk and can't see signatures so if there's a clue I don't see it. And in looking at your posts you haven't given a definitive answer that I noticed.

If out of canaveral I'd just stay up at universal (are you staying onsite there? I hope so!) and go the next morning. It's an hour away from canaveral.

If Tampa or Fort Lauderdale I'd stay in the port area the night before.

I'm staying on International street (universal area) and I had decided to stay at the port the night before instead of using the shuttle to PC the day of the cruise.
