The buckets of beer are buy 4, get the 5th one free. You can not use drink coupons to get that deal. The bucket turned out to be around 25$ with the tip. Claudia

We parked there for 2 weeks in March. It was right across the street. A short walk. It was not hard to park and then walk with our suitcases to the MSC terminal. I checked about making reservations, but they do not take them. We paid with a credit card when we left. Claudia

We just got off the Divina a few weeks ago. We did self assist debark, and we we had to meet at the Casino at 6:30. We were off the ship and in our car long before 7:00. Claudia

Can't wait to read your review. We will be sailing for 2 weeks in February and March and like to hear as much as we can about the ship. Bon voyage.

Verodoodle, so excited. We have the same room booked for a back to back the end of Feb. Was it hard to get a lounge chair and bring it to the room. Don't want to be dragging a chair down a bunch of steps or long hallways.

Just got back from a cruise where we visited Jamaica. A couple of years ago we had used Marks Tours and went to Dunn River Falls, lunch, and an area tour. We had a great time.
This year went back with brother N sister in law. About a week before traveling I contacted Marks Tours and asked for just a tour of the island (no swimming this trip). Mark quoted us a price, I asked if he could do it for a little less and he said yes.
We get to Jamaica and find Mark. While sitting in his Van, preparing to go, DH spotted another couple being "harassed" by another "tour" person. Joe stuck his head out of the van and asked if they would like to join us and gave the original price Mark had stated he'd do for us. The couple jumped in the Van and Mark explained what type of tour he was doing for us, gave the lower price he was doing for us. Also said if they wanted to be dropped off at Dunn River Falls, or anywhere else he could do that too.
Mark was going to spend 3 to 4 hours with us. In the end, he spent about 5.5 hours with us. We went to scenic overlook area for photos, the private home of a pottery maker, a local restaurant for Jerk Chicken, tour of island around Ocho Rios, stopped at Mystic Mountain where we saw a very unusual tree. (None of us had any desire to go up the tram). He took us to a local ice cream shop for Mango Icecream, hung around which we shopped. Took us to a small beach & shopping area close to one of the dock and waited around for us there. There are two docks at Ocho Rios. The NCL Getaway was at one, (this was the one with the beach area and shops) NCL Spirit was at the other. We were on the spirit.
All six of us had a wonderful day. His website is www.markstours.com
Enjoy your trip.
Thanks so much for the reply. I will check out marks tours soon.

Does anyone know if you can just get off the ship and find a tour bus that will take you around the island for a couple hours. Or, would it be best to find a private company and book ahead.
Thanks

Make sure you post a review when you get back. We will be in a Fantastica Balcony also.
We don't plan to eat in the dining room. I am curious what other options are available. I know there will be the buffet, but curious about a grill or deli, etc. Check out what other places are available to eat.
Also, can you check what the price of a Beer is onboard. Can't decide if we should buy a package or just pay the regular price. Also, do they have the 16 oz beers, like bud lite or Miller lite.
We have been on 13 cruises, but never on a ship with this many people. Does it seem to have to many people, or can you still find quiet places to sit and have a drink and visit.
I am sure I will think of many more questions.
Thanks for the help.

We booked for Feb. 2017. We were not told anything about the drinks. When is this suppose to start?

I was mainly wondering about the Soda. My husband usually gets the unlimited soda card on Princess and Carnival. All he wants is the soda, not the non alcoholic drinks and everything else included on MSC. I read that if he does get it, then I will have to get it also. For me it would be a waste. I understand that both should have to buy the alcohol package if it is unlimited, but not the soda.

Wondering if you can bring bottled water on board in your luggage. I know other cruise lines allow this, but can't find any information about MSC. Also, are you allowed to bring canned soda or wine?
Thanks in Advance.

You can buy some of the packages on the ship, the most popular ones. Most beers were $5, I believe.
Thanks for the reply. That is not a bad price for a beer. Can't decide if we should buy a package ahead or just wait to get on the ship. Have not sailed on MSC before, so it is a little confusing with all the different packages.

Does anyone know what the price of Beer is if you do not pre purchase coupons. Can you buy the packages on the ship, or do you have to get them ahead of time?

I have been trying to get Voyager Club membership for weeks. The website keeps asking me to fill in Area but won't let me enter anything. It also says it doesn't recognise my city despite entering the post code. Its utterly frustrating. Probably will try to join on board.
Anybody else had this problem. Incidentally I have ordered drink packages and an excursion with no trouble.
After a week, I am still having the same problem as you. Not a big rush, but it is maddening. Does anyone know if you have to join the voyagers club before you can send in the status match?
I tried calling, was put on hold for 30 minutes, they connected me to the right dept. Put on hold and after 10 was cut off. I tried leaving a message on the website for them to call me back. After 4 days, no call.
I suppose I will have to try calling and holding again.
Thanks, at least I know I am not alone.
