If she is going to Dzib the restaurant there is good. We ate there and enjoyed the food.

Several places on the beach at end of pier we stopped at corona beach was good but I drink but was nice.

Think I read somewhere in past you have to call RCCL to get the ball rolling to get recognized on celebrity.

Just like your favorite restaurant depends on how busy they are. Used to bring a pot and cups but was reading some complaining about getting paper cups ahla starbucks.

Hope you realize Chief Joe ; cabs to port and to airport plus hotels are higher priced in MIA and fewer flights so usually more expensive to and from MIA. Enjoy!

Yes if i had to flyin but i drive down and stay 3 or 4 hrs north of miami and drive in morning of departure and park in garage which is cheaper than flying.

Had several bad experiences sailing out of FFL both arriving and returning so after leaving agitated last time there decided will never use them again. Next trip in March is using Miami and will never book a cruise leaving out of FFL.

One other note the two week is very port intensive cruise. A lot of the ports have all day excursions which cuts down on activities and nightlife, after an all day trip across Panama you are tired, but it is a great trip. As was said these longer cruises attract an older crowd but eclipse is a great ship also do some research on where you are going so you will not be surprised on conditions you will see ashore. we did this cruse several years ago and loved it.

Park and go and park and fly are within a couple of blocks of the gates to get into the port there is not a whole lot of difference between the two. As i stated on previous post have used park and fly but have never heard a lot of complaints about either.

Park 'n fly have used them several times. go on line and reserve.

I am not a travel agent just a retired guy but after being on cruise critic as long as I have and seeing the stupid things that people complain excessively about like x's website for instance i make one call then forget about it till packing time. AMAZING

For just "standard" what ever is suggested by line if you have great service from him tip extra. Last butler we had, never wanted for anything breakfast on balcony every day did dining reservations. We even had dining room supper brought to room. Needless to say he got treated real well.

Agree with Banjo depends on length and guides expertise and how they interact with group and how helpful they are.

Pick one of the hump cabins if you can get the middle one can see both forward and astern. we were in 6231 in 08 great cabin. The x on balconies was a type of film you could see through it, was no problem whatsoever. Enjoy your cruise .

We also have insulated water bottles that we fill before going ashore. Cuts down buying ashore.

Did a San Juan departure several years ago. Flew down a couple of days early so could see some of the local area. Stayed at At Windchimes Inn , it was a small boutique hotel could walk to beach. People were great had small bar and could get food also. They arranged several trips for us and we went to fort saw all the families flying kites. Had a great time.

Have done 14 getting ready for cruise 15 use those cesspools on every cruise. Have never had a problem healthwise. Have more important thing to worry about like where is the bar waiter so i can get another drink.

Who cares if you can afford an X cruise you can afford a slight tip increase.

More media hype all those TRAPPED PASSENGERS. Saw on national news last night they were almost hysterical in reporting.

Get a good TA and you will never have a problem with X's web site. It's just amazing but then you won't have anything that to complain about.

We did this in 09 and enjoyed it very much. In panama we did the canal trip where you are taken by bus about half way and get on a boat and ride through the locks to the pacific side and bus back. Had a great time.

Been there multiple times never had a problem with the water.
