Shrek seems to be everywhere in Tallin - not sure why. He was up at the old town overlook in the morning and out near Fat Margaret later in the day.

We took a bicycle taxi back to the ship in Tallin just for fun. It was.

After going back and forth 8 times, we began calling the immigration station at the port The St. Petersburg Checkpoint Charlie.....

Just came from the port to the Copenhagen airport. Had an 11:30 flight. Left the ship at 7:45. Got to the airport at 8:15 with no one at the Delta counter until 8:30. Had to stand around in the lobby with nothing to do. Not sure how early your airline will be there. May want to check before deciding the timing you are looking for.

The port side makes it easier to watch each docking if that interests you. I think the scenery is about the same while sailing.

When at Hubbard, College Fjord or Glacier Bay please go to the front of the ship somewhere and stay there until they begin to turn the ship. Then go to the side with the view. Spend as much time looking at the glaciers as you can. Bundle up if needed. The longer you watch the more you see.

The back of the ship for port sail always is always nice.

There is a glitzier casino just to the left behind the cafe. It is more like what you see in Las Vegas. The main casino is very formal, staid and quiet. Not having our passports , they took our driver license (and 10 euro) for proof we were not citizens of Monaco who are forbidden to enter the casino. Apparently they get so much from the government, they are not allowed to gamble it away.

They do ask for a coat and tie after 10:30 PM when we were there in May.
