  1. We decided on going with an off-boat excursion using Peat Taylor Tours. I read some good reviews and it's much more cost effective. Also, they will tailor your experience for what you want. We wanted to do an excursion but also wanted to have time to enjoy the beaches there. We bought one excursion that may take 2 - 3 hours, and then are going to two different beach bars to relax in the sun.

  2. It looks like there are pretty much 3 option, Calico Jacks, Royal Palm and Tiki Beach for clubs. Can anyone provide an opinion on the differences? We are looking for a place that won't be too overcrowded, but definitely want to be able to enjoy some good food, and drinks.

Trying to find out what type of costs are we looking at food / drink wise?

What are the costs associated with each place as far as renting a chair / umbrella?

Or, if you know of a different place other than the three listed above, please share the info!

Looking to get an idea of how much to budget for the day. Thanks in advance!

  3. I saw on Viator there is an "excursion" at Grand Cayman for $109 that gives a day pass at the Westin Seven Mile Beach. I'm not sure if that is an all-inclusive deal or not. Are there any other packages that anyone knows about there?

  4. have you checked the port of calls boards?

we are going to try the jamaican bobsled in Ocho Rios

I saw the bobsled, and it looks cool. But, do you know if there's a way to do the bobsled and still sneak in some beach time? I wouldn't want to travel all that way to get to the beautiful ocean and not be able to enjoy it. I'll check out the ports of call...thanks!

  5. So we are looking at the different excursions but are having trouble deciding. Can anyone provide some feedback? We have heard that in Jamaica, it's a must to do an excursion because otherwise it's not safe. We really just want to relax by a beautiful beach at both places, but there doesn't seem to be many options. Mostly it's go to the waterfall dunes, and maybe spend an hour at the beach, or hang out with turtles and sting rays. Any thoughts. We would like to be able to maybe do an excursion and hang out at the beach if possible, but we can't find anything that seems to do both.
