Something is broken. MSC ship docks in Miami and passengers disembark without tesying

My DW and I were on the Escape 7 Day sailing to Bermuda this past May. We had the 250 minute perk. The onboard price to upgrade to unlimited was $85.00 on sail away day and $55 on day 2. We waited until the first full sea day to upgrade.

Rwf1,
Our cabin was on the starboard side of the ship so we had a view of the ocean side of the dockyard. There is a youtube video of 9318 which I believe is identical to 9918.

My DW and I were in 9918 last week. It was wonderful. The largest aft Haven suite balconies and non Haven aft balconies are on deck 9. Enjoy!

There is a video of 9318 on YouTube. My DW and I will be 9918 in two weeks. It is a picture image of 9318.

Do you need the ship's wi-fi to watch downloaded movies to your Ipad? I assume airplane mode is sufficient.
Thanks,

I apologize but I am having difficulty following what the impact will be to my DW and me on our upcoming cruise to Bermuda. We both have the UBP which cost $249.20 for our 7 day cruise based on a perceived retail price of $99 per day X 2 x 18% in our case. We both generally drink Grey Goose.
If I understand it properly we can keep the UBP but there is an upgrade charge of $19.95 per drink. This assumes NCL has Grey Goose on board.
I guess the alternative is to upgrade to the Premium package. I can't figure whether it is $128 per day or the difference of $128-$99 in our case.
I have already spoken to NCL and was informed that we could cancel the "free" UBP perk.
Thanks,
Jay

Thank you everyone. In 2006 we sailed on the Tahitian Princess which was a former R Class ship and we loved it. So that size was perfect. We had a balcony cabin which was very nice. There was a main restaurant and a specialty steak house which I believe was called Sabatini's.

We generally cruise on NCL but are considering Oceania to Cuba later this year. It looks like the Sirena, Riviera and Insignia all cruise from Miami to Cuba. Since we aren't familiar with any of the ships, we aren't sure which to book. We don't use a lot of amenities, but spend a considerable amount of time on the balcony. We prefer specialty restaurants to the main dining room. We don't gamble and aren't particularly interested in shows. With that in mind, would appreciate any recommendations.
Are all of the ships former R ships, or are any relatively new?
Thanks.

Another pro for the 5 day cruise: Maya Chan, just outside of Costa Maya, is one of the best excursions my DW and I have been on. It is owned by an American expat. Fabulous Mexican food. All top shelf alcohol. Palapas and water toys. Taxi to and from is included. It is not run by NCL so it is reasonably priced.

Ramon,
I had tickets to Michigan as well. DW had unexpected surgery so I sent my tickets to a former classmate who lives in South Bend. My wife went to Purdue so she was very excited last week!

Ramon,

Alex Forbes was the concierge and David Contreras was his assistant.

And the answer is....?

I had a recent issue with my three old Datejust. The minor service together with a new crown and polishing was $750.

The Rebel Yell catamaran excursion to White Bay on Jost Van Dyke is Fabulous! The White Bay beach is beautiful and the Soggy Dollar Bar is famous for its Painkilles.

Charging for an Angus steak dinner in the Haven? Even for an NCL loyalist who loves the Haven, this sounds like a new low. I'm disappointed to hear this, and hope it doesn't become standard practice.

Are you in a deluxe owner's suite ? If so I am very envious!
