Hi! We’re sailing on the Constellation in Room 6048 in a few months. Any feedback about this location, good or bad? Thanks in advance!

Please let me know if you do end up booking this stateroom and post pics of the balcony . I have it booked for a 2024 cruise since I did not realize the neighbours can see through the partition.

  2. In February 2019 we took a Celebrity shorex called Pitons Cruise & Snorkel. It was a lovely boat ride and we snorkelled between the Pitons.

In 2018, we took a Celebrity shorex that took us to the mud Baths and then stopped at the Beacon Restaurant for a delicious lunch (included in the tour). The view is phenomenal from the Beacon and makes for wonderful photos.

  3. I never have a problem when calling weekdays early in the morning. On January 2, i called late in the day with a supposed 30 minute wait that turned out to be 50 minutes. I figured there was a huge increase in callers due to the existing sale they have on now and the fact that they were closed on January 1. It was worth the wait for me to get 3 perks instead of 1 and a reduced price on my existing 2021 reservation.

We too used Jorge on our recent cruise and We all had a great time. Always felt safe and got to do things the cruise ship excursions can't do such as stopped on the side of the road and watched a tree full of black faced monkeys in a huge tree, stopped by a fruit stand and had the best local fruit and made a stop at a local super market and bought coffee and other local items at half the price that was available at the markets close to the ship.

Our tour was very similar to Nevada Jen, but all the other perks was a high lite of our cruise. We will not hesitate to go with Jorge again. His email address is info@portlimon.com

Capt Mike53, Thank you for the current review. We are booked with Jorge in March 2020 and i am glad to hear the great reviews still hold true.

I would recommend doing the Roseau Valley Treasures tour with Bumpiing tours in Dominica and river tubing in Grenada. Did this back in April with my niece and she loved both of them. I had done river tubing in Grenada in December as well and everyone on the excursion had a good time. But by far the best in Dominica is tours with Bumpiing and if you're lucky you might get Levi as your guide. Trafalgar Falls, Titou Gorge & Champagne reef can't be beat.

Definitely recommend Bumpiing Tours with Levi.  Awesome value for the money.

We have played many trivia games on board, and the best "quiz masters" make sure that there are no devices in sight, and that everyone exchanges papers with another team to check answers. Each question is read twice only, and they do not reread the questions at the end. You are allowed to make notes during the quiz. Winners are awarded tickets to be redeemed for trinkets on the last cruise day. If the trivia is not being run fairly, we won't bother going. Mistakes can be made, but we wouldn't make a big deal about them. We once had a activity host who insisted that the longest river in the world was the Amazon. Lots of Nova Scotian Canadians will be surprised to learn that Halifax is a country!

I laughed when i read that too! We live in Nova Scotia 🙂  We go to Trivia to test ourselves and have always met the nicest people and end up forming teams with our new friends. We have never won and don't care.

No need to skip the port, there is a very nice wildlife garden (with lots of birds, animals and even a sloth), shops and a restaurant right at the harbor entrance. When you get off the ship there will be a free shuttle bus right there that will take you the few hundred (~200) yards to the cruise terminal. I think there were toilets as well, but then it is only a 3 minute ride back to the ship anyway as this is entirely inside the port.

What was the entrance fee for this wildlife garden area?

Looking at options for cruise and this looks fantastic.  I looked at some pictures on Trip Advisor but was hard to tell.  How was the ladder for getting in and out of the water for snorkeling?  I'm not the most agile or a jump in the water gal and always worry about tiny little ladders for getting in and out. Do you remember?  This looks fabulous and good price.

The ladder is wide enough and made of metal. When coming back on board after snorkelling, the first rung is a bit hard to manage with the fins and mask in your hands as it is quite high.

  9. Thought i would share our positive experience with El Tigre in case any other cruisers are looking to book them on your own. We were picked up at the dock right on time by a very friendly driver. He met us at the stand for all personally booked excursions at the end of the excursion platform once you are outside of the main building with all the stores. We had checked in at that booth and the workers let us know when our driver arrived. We were the only cruise passengers on board our ship to have booked this excursion. The 5 hour catamaran tour included 2 snorkel stops, banana bread, coffee for breakfast as well as a buffet style lunch with more than enough food for everyone. The catamaran is very clean and spacious. We did not feel crowded at all. Drinks were flowing from start to finish with more options than most other companies offer. The first stop is close to port and they dock very close to the beach. We did see one sea turtle at this stop. Then you sail along the gorgeous coastline to the second stop where you have lunch and have time for a leisurely swim while the crew cleans up. Treated like royalty by the crew. They always came around refilling drinks and taking dirty dishes away. Felt totally safe on board and while snorkelling. Definitely would not hesitate to book again with El Tigre for sure. We never felt rushed at either snorkelling stop and were back to port in plenty of time.

Thank you for this information. We've booked him and hopefully the car ride won't bother us!

What was the cost per person? Would you be able to review the tour for me?

I am booked with Celebrity for this excursion as well but don't sail on Reflection until January.  There's a recent review that is making me seriously consider cancelling and looking for another snorkelling excursion.  According to the reviewer it was a very high speed catamaran trip with music so loud you couldn't hear the commentary and booze was flowing freely.  Lunch apparently was good tho.  If you decide to do this trip can you please report back when you return?  Much appreciated!

I saw 2 negative reviews and am thinking of cancelling this tour as well depending on what your review is!
