I got a 3-pack from the Optus store about a week and a half ago. They expire on 1/28/2023.

Will be on LOS in about a month and I’m interested in cash account so I don’t have to deal with credit card holds and any other inconvenience related to CC’s. Is there a minimum dollar amount necessary to open one? Can you use it down to a zero balance? If you have a balance left at the end of the cruise, will they refund in cash? Also, can you use money in the casino or just you room card? TIA for any information, this will be my first RC cruise.

I am so glad this all worked for you. I am mobility challenged myself and there would be no way for me to cruise without an accessible cabin. The suggestions you followed definitely got the attention you needed. I love this group.

In agreement with time4u2go. The device described by Sunshine 3601 has a surge protector and shouldn’t be used on a ship. That being said, it can be used on land just about anywhere in the world.

You can call on a TA to price the cruise for you. You are not obligated to accept and book it, but they are usually very helpful in my experience.

145 days to “sail day”!

How does one find out if their booked sailing is a charter or hosting a special group?

Hi chodnett,
My cruise planner is down also. Hope it’s fixed soon.

This morning I found another fare reduction. It was for Liberty of the Seas May 8, 2022 out of Galveston for Texas residents. I called my wonderful TA who got right on it and my trip got reprised immediately. I hope more folks can benefit too. It covered a couple more sailings in May also.

Does anyone know if any of the Royal ships carry any of the Bailey’s varieties?
-
Thank you all for your great suggestions. I love this group and all the insight and experience that you possess and offer.

If you want to take food back to you room, does the ship provide paper plates or any sort of to-go containers for this purpose? Can I bring my own styrofoam containers from home or is that not allowed. I just don’t want to carry open plates of food all around the ship.

Thank you all for the info. I plan to keep up with it.

This may be a dumb question but what is the best way to check the price of your booking before your final payment? Is there a particular website that is good for this? I know it should be done fairly often. Do you look for the advertised base prices before taxes & fees? I just want to be sure about what I’m doing.

Thank y’all for the info.

Does anyone know if the Liberty of the Seas has the freestyle soda machines?
-
Thanks, good info!

Thanks everyone for the info. Would someone also clarify that if you bring back alcohol purchased during the cruise and debark in Texas, you have to pay some sort of duty?
-
Will someone clarify when exactly can the UDP start use after boarding the ship? How many miles out of the country? Does one have to pay more for drinks before entering international waters? If one wants an alcoholic drink at dinner, with UDP can you order from your table or do you have to bring it into the venue yourself?
-
My question is how do you keep up with the prices of the drink pkgs? Since I bought the UDP my cruise planner just shows that I bought it, but doesn’t show the present price. How will I check to see if the price drops?

I just wanted to ask the community about immunizations that may be needed for a Carribean Cruise. We are sailing on Royal Carribean Liberty of the Seas this spring and I’m looking for help. Does the CruiseLine require documentation as to immunizations and where do we find out which ones are required/ recommended? Thanks in advance for any help.
