Great info, please keep it up 🙂
Do you have any photos of the bar menus? Particularly interested in the champagne bar & cocktails so if you could get a photo that would be great. Also, do you know the cost onboard of upgrading Premium Drinks to Premium Plus? Thanks

I was bumped off MSC and have rebooked on Marella Explorer from Southampton on 2 Jul and I'm confident that they have not overbooked these trips. Especially as it's now a week after the announcement and the sailings are still on sale.
-
We're looking forward to sailing on Explorer on 2 Jul having been cancelled by MSC following their overbooking.

Is anyone else able to pre-book the Cirque du Soleil shows in advance via the planner? The option to book both (either dinner or cocktail) was available last time I logged in to the UK site but now it is not there for our cruise (8/Mar).
Thanks in advance

Will be travelling on Meraviglia in March next year from Miami and I wonder if anyone knows whether MSC offer sugar free syrups or coconut milk in the coffee shops for Lattes etc?
Thanks

If I recall correctly, on Constellation last year they had both American style thinner hash browns, and the chuckier triangular ones with the british breakfast selection in Oceanview Cafe. Both were delicious.

Make sure you do the Silent Disco, great fun in the Martini Bar on Constellation

I’ve only seen comments from people on Transatlantics saying it’s back at 50% off. It is for Silhouette sailing 14 April, and I believe the Reflection crossing in April too.
I'm sure this must have been thought of before but it would be interesting to try and work out if there's some kind of pattern to when the planner has a sale for sailings? The above info would make it 9 weeks out (approx 60 days).
I'm happy to collate if people want to post info on when/whether their sailing has a flash sale.

Sale is happening again right now. I'm not sure if it's just for our cruise specifically, but I just purchased the Premium beverage package for 50% off (they are doing a BOGO offer). The DW doesn't drink much but at that price, even a few Latte's and a glass of wine a day makes it worth it. Not sure when it started. I posted it on our Roll call just in case it's "cruise specific".
Out of interest, when is your sailing?

Just heard that Rich Clesen will be the CD on Silhouette for the TA in April. Anyone have any experience with him in this position?
We had Rich on Connie last year in April and he was very entertaining and enthusiastic!

I can't see anyone who answered this but we're on Constellation in May and would love to know who'll be our CD if possible?

Our sailing was fantastic and we had no rocking or bad weather on the whole voyage, it was all very calm so hopefully it will be the same for you too.

We ate at Qsine twice on on Constellation on our 15 night trip in April and the food was excellent both times so you won't be disappointed. It's a bit disappointing to find out that it's ending next year but at least we'll still be able to eat their in May.

We sailed on Constellation in April for 15 nights from Singapore to Abu Dhabi and had a great time. As others have said, the crew are excellent and feeling of space from a "smaller" ship, which is something I was concerned about having only been on ships over 130,000 tons before, was amazing. So much so we've booked ourselves back on for a Med cruise from Barcelona to Venice on 12 May next year 🙂

We had one of these cabins on Constellation (3126) in April on our Best of India & Sri Lanka cruise and the window was fantastic. The one caveat I would add was that there was a constant humming noise which was noticeable, having been moved from a deck 9 inside stateroom, which took a while to get used too.
For that reason we have booked one of the cabins further forward, 3036, for an upcoming trip. But other than that the location is fantastic with very little foot traffic in the small corridor outside.

Thanks, Only booked a couple of days ago so not had Celebrity confirmation through from TA yet so I'm probably jumping the gun but as TA managed to spell my surname wrong with Celebrity despite having it correct on their own confirmation I'm just a little worried.

Ship: Constellation
Cabin: 3126
Deck: 3
Class: Oceanview (Cat 6)
Area/Location: Midship
Bed Location / View: Wall-facing
Quiet? Yes-ish - Location-wise it's a very quiet place to be however there was a constant humming noise which took a while to get used too
Balcony/Porthole View: Excellent
Balcony/Porthole Size: Large
Wind a Problem? No
Soot a Problem? No
Problems / Comments: This is one of the newer cabins on the ship, located where the cinema and part of the conference centre used to be. It's on a short corridor which leads from the atrium to the rear stairs/lifts which only really serves Q-Sine (also excellent!) The window is massive and the only real problem we had was the humming noise mentioned above but you did get used to that and we would probably have not noticed it had we not moved from an inside cabin

Quick question hopefully. We've booked a 2019 Med cruise in a Cat 5 Oceanview cabin that should come with the free Classic Drinks Package but I can't see any reference to this on the cruise planner? Should I be able to or is this normal?
Thanks in advance

We're now well into the process of packing for our 7 April cruise on Constellation but I was just wondering if Celebrity do any theme nights that we would need to take anything specific for?
Other cruise lines we've been on have had White Parties, 70's nights etc so it would be good to be prepared 😃

We cruised on MSC last year and on the cruise planner we were able to order a sunset champagne package delivered to our room with souvenir flutes.
Does anyone know if Celebrity do something similar as we'd love to collect some more when we sail on Constellation in April?
Thanks
Paul & Sarah

Yes prices are the same. Since it is a repo I would wait until boarding to purchase the package just in case.
We have done 18 cruises on X about 6 were repos and never saw a 2for one or any other discount on-board. We have a repo coming up which offered the beverage package at 30% off but we were away and missed that sale:(. We are hoping for a discount to be offered on board.
So definitely a good idea to keep an eye on the cruise planner? Or will we get an email from Celebrity about any offers?
-
We were on a Trans-Pacific this past May with no Drinks Package perk. There was a two for one offered On-Board. Hey, it's a flip of the coin - Patience can be a virtue. Unfortunately, I'd already purchased the Premium, months before the cruise. DOH!
Thanks, are the package prices the same on-board as in advance?

W sailed the fall TA on the Silhouette. About a months before they offered 50% off the drinks package so we bought the classic. I can t remember if we weceived notice or if someone on the roll call let us know. I vaguely remember that they were also offering this as we boarded the ship or perhaps wait to buy it. Enjoy your cruise.
Thanks that’s great, fingers crossed we get the same offer. Will have to make sure I log into the Cruise Personaliser everyday I guess.

Thanks, unfortunately I don't have the option to upgrade on the MSC site so will have to suck up the 15% service charge and do it when we board I guess
