Cruise pricing hitting hard, this is for next year refundable 2 person cabin. So 7200 for a week if we do this again next year.

That isn't right.  I just looked up this time next year on Symphony, and it's $2,638 for 2 people in an ocean balcony and you get $150 onboard credit.  Double check those numbers!!  Have a great time and thank you for the review!!

No. The menu is the same across all the floors of the main dining room and sometimes the app isn’t correct before your actual sailing. Up until our sailing two weeks ago, the only one that had a menu was the one on Deck 5. But when we boarded, our table was on Deck 3.

    Thanks for the info!

  3. If you go on the RC app and click on dining, then a certain dining room for main dining (Room 4, Room 5, My Time Dining, Ect...) and only see a menu in one of the rooms, is that the room you will be dining in?  Mine says main dining room 5 and that's the only one with access to the menu, so I'm thinking that's my room.  Any input would be appreciated!

I’m not sure if you are all aware of this major issue. It began once we got off the ship.

These cards are useless. Once we got home we went to the local coffee shop (we will not name the place to keep some peace) and the barista said these cards could not be used there. Then we went to the local café for some lunch. Same thing happened. In both places the managers were no help either and don't get me started on our local pub. This is unreal. In addition to this grief, we can’t find our room steward anywhere. Our bed hasn’t been made in 4 days. I mean c’mon what kind of service is this?

Royal is definitely slipping and if we could find the ship, we’d let the captain know of our concerns. We’re at a loss for words and we are looking for some suggestions.

    Thanks as always.

PS it was a great cruise and we’re trying to see when we can go back.

I'm interested in doing a December 2023 cruise but I'd like to be able to do one with a scuba course available, where you do the poolwork in the ship's pool and the required open water dives at the ports. I know Royal Caribbean offers this on many of their cruises and they're the only cruise line that does. It's a fantastic way to get scuba certified for those of us who live inland. Is there a way to see in advance if this excursion will be offered, before I book a cruise?

Im on Oasis in June 2023, they just posted it to get certified in Feburary.  It was $405pp.

In my calculations, I find that just 7 beers a day pay for the package at the current price of $83.99 a day for my upcoming cruise. It just became available to purchase recently. In my calculations, I used the price difference between the refreshment package and the deluxe beverage package. Because if I did not get the DBP, I would at least get the RP. 7 beers in a day are nothing for me. Plus one or two other adult beverages a day would be the norm for us also.

They have yet to offer the DBP with Internet. That is what we plan to get when it becomes available.

You need 9 beers a day to break even.  $7.99 + 1.44 (Tax) = $9.43 per beer.    But if that works for you, cheers!

Ticket prices for admission to Thrill Water Park @Coco Cay for our June 2023 cruise are currently $140 pp. Yikes!!

Do these admission prices ever drop or go on sale?

Of course we realize other parts of RCL’s private island are “complimentary”.

You are doing Oasis out of NJ.  I booked Black Friday at $74.99 for waterpark, $29 for Scuba and I think $59pp for wave runners.  $140 is insane to pay, plenty of stuff to do on that island.

Specialty coffee in the morning, OJ with breakfast, two or three waters through out the day, afternoon cocktails, a cocktail in the show room , a glass of wine with dinner, late night cocktails in the pub or bar.  You are already way over $100 pp.

I bought the case of water, plus bringing 12 more on board plus 2 bottles of wine.  I'm a beer drinker, I can't drink 75 of them for a week, lol.

  10. Our Oasis of the Seas sailing for June started out at $63.99 and now up to $85.99!!  I get they have to make up for lost money, but it's starting to get to the point where it makes no sense to purchase it.  With 18% taxes/tips, it's about $1,400 for 2 people on a 7 day sailing.  At $200 per day, it almost forces you to drink your face off every day, with the exception of specialty coffees and no alcoholic drinks.  If they dropped it to $69.99 they would have many more people signing up in my opinion.

    Just to list a few.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to see it...

It's been on Oasis for YEARS.......How about just switch it up is where I was going with that.  Why not take a production from another ship and swap?  I've seen it, now that I'm going on Oasis a year later, I would like some variety.  And that does say 1983, it's a 40 year show.  Might as well put cassette players in the cabins.
