We are trying to complete the health declaration in the royal carribbean app for our cruise that departs tomorrow from Sydney but we keep getting an error message.  Is anyone else having the same issue?

I am having the same problem, as are many others. They will just ask the questions at checkin to complete the health declaration.

You are assuming that NumnuT is starting from zero points.

The other thing to consider, if NumnuT is starting from zero or has not Crown and Anchor status with Royal Caribbean, they are not eligible for the double points promotion, regardless of what cabin they stay in. The double points offer only applied to Gold Crown and Anchor members or higher.

I didn’t think that was included in Australia?

Did you book directly with Royal Caribbean?
Very interesting,I wonder if the agents will carry the savings on like the US agents do.

Can confirm I have also had success with this, called the day after it was announced and got a $350 reduction on one of my cruises. I am now checking prices weekly in case any of the other 3 drop in price.

dhose sailing today received emails yesterday that she would be late, had some rough seas.

That is correct, had to sail around some bad weather, so took a bit longer to get home.

Happy to say she left dead on time for the next cruise, which I happen to be on 😁

Totally agree...it would've been better to go to Moorea than Papeete.

We stayed in Moorea for a week....and sailed around the South Pacific on Renaissance Cruises.  Wondering why Captain Henrik chose Papeete over Moorea?.....or better yet, overnight in Bora-Bora!  (For those of you sailing into Bora-Bora for the first time...you must get up early and see the sail-in...breathtaking.)

From what I am hearing, a stop in Papeete was required for refuelling, neither Moorea or Bora-Bora have the capability for this, so unfortunately they had to find a way to include a stop at Papeete.

  6. I am on an Ovation cruise leaving 20th October. My cruise planner is currently saying $172 for the 5 night package, but when you actually select your time, it comes down to $163. Worth doing a dummy booking to see if this is the case for your cruise, it becomes even better value then. Generally just the 3 night package onboard sells for $99 USD plus 18% gratuity, so when converted to AUD, it comes to a fair bit more.

  7. I am on Radiance of the Seas on 1st Dec this year, and have been watching the prices on a daily basis. The refreshment package was hovering at $38 per day, then went up to just under $40 per day (most things increased slightly). Last night noticed the package was down to $27.90 per day, so snapped this up. I have not seen it drop below this for a long time, this is the price where I feel I will come out on top vs paying as I go.

The Deluxe package has dropped about $5 lower than the regular price, the Deluxe plus surf and stream has not changed at all.

    Hope this helps :D

  8. I have had the same thing happen to me (although I booked a balcony guarantee).

My reservation on RC kept changing between "Guarantee" and "Ocean View Accessible Guarantee". I was going to call my travel agent to check on this, but got tied up with work. When I looked a few days later, the has allocated a balcony room as booked.

Worth a call to RC if you like, but as long as you have the original booking email which states what grade you booked, should sort it self out.

  9. Thanks, looks like the price may reduce closer to time.

I have friends on your cruise so will let them know:)

I certainly hope they do reduce.

Although I have noticed that for the newly released cruise program, the same room I normally book is $1000 more for the same cruise (I book Studio Balcony, cruise next year is $3100 vs 2019 cruise $4100). I am worried that RC is capitalizing on the popularity of cruising thus increasing prices.

  10. Have to agree, similar happens here in Australia. I am constantly frustrated with sale fares, that single price is way over 200% of twin fare. Fortunately, I have been able to secure a studio balcony on Ovation of the Seas on two cruises in 2018 (both times the last remaining one), which works out about 10% more that the twin price for the cheapest balcony. Now waiting for 2019 cruises to come out, will need to book straight away to get the best cabin at a reasonable price.
