  1. How noisy are connecting rooms on the Allure? We have never sailed on Royal, most of our cruises have been on Celebrity. We are planning a short cruise on the Allure after a trip to Orlando. There aren't many non connecting rooms left so our TA picked a room for us which is connecting. I know Celebrity"s connecting rooms on newer ships connect through an extra door through the main hallway so there is no extra noise which would be the case with an actual door in the cabin.

    Help please.

  2. Sorry I never got back on this question. The cabin steward couldn’t open the partitions and said the safety officers new rules. We went down the GuestRelations. They said it was a new rule fleetwide. We explained that wasn’t the case when we booked the rooms and we have been traveling on S class ships for a number of years expressly because we could open the balcony. She said they would have to contact the staff captain and I guess he approved because they opened the balconies.

  3. We travel with friends sometimes and like to open the balcony divider so we can sit outside together. Although we travel on various cruise lines by ourselves we usually book on Celebrity S class ships we we travel together because we can have the cabin attendant open the dividers. We wanted to try Holland next cruise but only if we can have the divider opened. TIA.

  4. This May seem like a silly question but I always like to pick up some things for the grands with extra onboard credit but they didn’t have any of these sales on my recent Beyond cruise. I’m not sure if this was just on these one ship or if it is across the line. Most of the merchandise available was expensive, no cheap stuff. Have there been $10 sails on other ships?

  5. We have a small group booking four balcony rooms. We have sailed on Celebrity a number of times and can open the balconies between all four rooms. We really like this feature. We are considering some HA cruises. Is there a way to open the balconies on any or on all of the HA ships?

This has been true in my experience.  As a further shout out to RCG, I'll let you know its shareholder benefit is simply tacked on regardless of promotion.  On Oceania, we learned it may not be combinable if you have OBC included as a promotion.  We still have 100 shares of NCLH and RCG, but the RCG is of greater use.

What cruiseline group is Oceania with, I have a cruise booked next year with them.

  7. Thanks Jim. I think you are on our Summit cruise to Iceland.
im not really tech savvy so have a heck of a time submitting on the link. I can either send the whole statement without highlighting( I don’t know how to do it) or highlight a physical copy the take a picture then attach but it only lets me attach one page not two.  Such a pain.

  8. I have over 100 shares of RCL. I sent a copy of my statement to the link and got a reply that I don’t have 100 share but I highlighted the 102 shares that I have. Is there a phone number to call or a physical address to send a copy of my statement to with a letter to ask to re-evaluate? I never got the shareholder credit for my Feb cruise but I had so much OBCi didn’t pursue it. But this time I’m annoyed.

  9. Just an FYI. I had to apply for a renewal of my Global Entry. I still had a few months left but wasn't sure if it would be delayed. It took just 36 hours for my application to be approved!! No interview Yay! I even paid for it with my credit card and the free GErefund is already there. Id been putting it off but easy peasy!!

  10. We are planning on doing a B2B on the reflection but switching to a Sky Suite 2 for part 2 of the cruise. I am a little concerned that the SS2 are on Deck 12 under the Oceanview. They are all open so we have our choice 2177-2199 or 2174-2188. What would you pick Port or Starboard (Western Caribbean) and any area that would be not noisy.

    Thanks.

  11. I had booked a 3 day tour from Dublin to Kerry with Rabbles tours for a precruise stay. We had to cancel since our cruise was cancelled. It took a while but they refunded our money, no issues. I was wanted to acknowledge a company that did the right thing, even though it must have been a difficult time for them.

I didn't follow the commotion caused by this, but I never understood it intended as a long term guideline. That plan was thrown out in early March as an intermediary solution to appease the CDC and the task farce and then the speculation went rampant from there.

    “task farce” Love it!

  13. I just had to cancel our tour with Muensterbus.ie for August. Although we didn't take the tour I wanted to let others know how easy this company and Linda were to work with and no issues canceling. I think companies that make things easy in these crazy times should be acknowledged.

The Jameson distillery tour was also quick and easy to cancel.
