  1. I was on the Miracle last January and had a fantastic crew with my Celiac! I LOVE salads so that was my go to for all lunches most dressings are fine, breakfast (when not in MDR) just had eggs and fruit, yogurt, and MDR for dinner, had menu each night for the next day. They were great and not one upset tummy. Steakhouse was delish as well. Not a fan of the gf bread though, but they try, the white one is not bad, more of a biscuit texture. The yellow gf bread is kinda yucky... They have a creme brûlée one night in dining room mmmmmmmm!

  2. On January 29, 2017 we were on our very first cruise as a family on the Miracle. We were not long out of Long Beach when a young man cornered my husband to take photos of him proposing to his now finance and gave my husband his phone!! I saw the request out of the corner of my eye, and happened to have my Cannon camera around my neck taking sun set shots. Thank goodness because his phone would not work! I was able to capture the moment, I am not a photographer, nor do I pretend to be one. She had no idea, and was trembling with happiness! We were thrilled to be randomly selected to be a part of this special moment. I will never forget this!

  3. ALL cruise lines offer GF fare....call them in advance...they all have a "special needs" department. Let them know what you need, so they can have it on hand.

I know they all do this. I was just looking to see if anyone has been on recently who could give me the low down on what is available from experience. Thanks.

  4. I will be on the Splendor in February and am wondering if anyone has the low down on the gluten free options in the buffet? This is not a choice for me to be gluten free.... I am sure the MDR works the same, with pre ordering, and I am aware there is always a chance of cross contamination. Thanks.

  5. It is my understanding that your father being the reason for the need for trip interruption/cancellation insurance, it is considered a pre existing condition and coverage may /will not be extended. Read the fine print, and Be sure to call around check with ANY insurance company about this scenario as it is different from State, to State, or Province to Province.

  6. I forgot to pack a matching pair of flip flops. I have 2 pairs of black flip flops (same brand and style) and I put a pair in my bag. When I got to Miami I realized that I had packed 2 left shoes! Needless to say we had to stop and buy a pair.

My father in law did this with his dress shoes. He wears the full kilt, with all accessories (minus the bag pipes) for formal nights. He wore the wrong shoe like a pro. He does not think anyone even noticed!
