I know this is only a minor concern but does Borealis have hairdriers and mini fridges in all cabins, as I seem to get different answers when I look at the Fred Olsen website.
Thanks in advance 😁

Just been in my back garden and heard the lovely noise of MSC sounding her horn as she sailed out of Liverpool. Just a hop and a skip to the beach here but didn't think I would make it to see her sail by, oh well perhaps next time.

Could a new thread not be set up perhaps called 'P & O Fan Club' - 'P & O Pen Pals' or - 'P & O old and new friends' but still kept like this original one same people, same problems and same support! Just a thought.

We have always used Eavesway Travel and they are brilliant at making a 6hr coach journey fly by effortlessly - I just hope they are still in business when we come to use them again.

I saw someone do that once. He was very proud as he did so and some other passengers in the lift thought that it was amusing. As we left the lift my wife reminded me that the bottom of that stick had probably been on the floor by a urinal a few minutes earlier 🤢Cannot bring myself to use lift buttons, atm machines, pedestrian crossings etc. so will always use the stairs - healthier too after all that food multiple times a day 😃

Sounds like our local bus company don't like that at all!

Could be 'Allegra' meaning - happy and joyful.
Picture showing two 'A's' one for start and end of name and also people's legs so sort of fits in 🤔

As there are two 'A's' in the photo one for the start of the name and then ending with the usual 'A' also people's legs so sort of fits in 🤔

Care to share which ones you are talking about? Tunisia and Egypt spring to mind, but I have to say that personally, I would not be rushing to visit them.
Perhaps we could all go to Guernsey or Jersey if want a little continental flavour, Iceland, shame that Monaco and San Marino are surrounded or they would be lovely options

Thanks Avril.
It is a massive comfort getting all these get well messages on cc.
We have been overwhelmed also by the offers of help from friends and family, fortunately we had plenty of food in and Pauline has already wrapped and labelled everyone's Xmas presents.
Graham.
I don't say much on this site usually just every now and then - but I do certainly read all the posts most days and usually have a little chuckle. Just to say it is lovely to see you gradually returning to your usual postings. You take care and keep improving!!

Agree
For me the ports are the destination, the ship provides accomodation and the means of getting there. As someone who has been cruising since the early 1990s, I have long since visited most of the sights usually visited on ships tours. I have no wish to see them again and again, neither do I wish to stay onboard. But as they say, the first time you go somewhere you see the sights, thereafter you see the city. I obtain my pleasure seeing the city, not being herded around on ships tours. And if the latter were to be the only option available then cruising would no longer be for me.
Totally agree with you, it is very true when you say you see the sights and then the next time the city as that is exactly what we do. I go to great lengths finding hidden off the beaten track places which are not too touristy but rewarding to visit.

Anyone remember The Monkees? I have to confess to loving their TV programme and music.I was also a fan of David Essex, David Cassidy and The Bay City Rollers and loved to dance to music by T Rex, Sweet and Mud at disco's! A bit embarrassing to admit now!!
Brings back memories dancing to 'Crazy Horses' and 'I Love your tiger feet' at the school lunchtime disco

Argh we were really looking forward to seeing this show whilst on Aurora last year but unfortunately the sea was too rough for the performance to take place and it had to be cancelled and it was on the last night as well so was a real letdown!!!!
