My husband seems to be leaning toward cancelling the catamaran tour and booking our day at Paradise Beach Club.

That way we have the pool, loungers, food and drink, and if the ocean is nice we can take a swim there too.

I just hope it doesn't rain.

If it rains, it definitely won't last long.  It never does.  Paradise Beach is the my go to place, always.  You can't go wrong.  The pool is fabulous, the food is yummy, the staff is great, the grounds are beautiful, the bathrooms are always clean.

  2. I'm cruising on the Breeze in February and received the upgrade/upsell offer.  My friend and I booked in inside interior (box room) with the CHEERS rate code.  I wanted a balcony, she wanted the CHEERS rate code, so I said okay.  First we received an upsell to a balcony for $80, we took (got to keep the CHEERS rate code).  Win, win.. I get my balcony, she gets to keep CHEERS.  About 3 weeks, I received another upsell.  This time for $100 to go a spa balcony of course I took it. So now we have spa amenities with CHEERS..  I'm excited!

I just read somewhere that if the cruise was paid in full that TA's still received their commission, even if the cruise is cancelled by Carnival. 1st cancelled cruise only. I have been working to pay off my 2022 cruise so that my TA will get her commission.

    That is correct.

That deck 9 one has a nice shady overhang though and no one can see down on you.

We are not sensitive to noise. I've heard people talk about hearing people dragging deck chairs and the staff re-arranging them at night but I think it is not an issue to worry about.

I had a deck 8 aft extended on Magic and I talked to the guy above us on 9 and asked him about noise and he said it wasn't an issue.

    That's great to know! Thanks!

  5. I've been here once back in 2013, it's time for me to return but I still have a long ways to go, July 2020.  My friend and I got a cabana back then, boy the prices have gone up!  Anyways, I am wondering about the clam shells.  Where do you reserve them?  How much?  S&S card or cash?  And do they have the blue mats/floats still?  If so, do we reserve them, if so when? S&S card or cash?
