I called an switched an August 2020 Harmony sailing to a Symphony 2021 sailing.
I am looking to do the same. Have an 8D balcony on Harmony and want to switch to Symphony. For 2021 there are no longer any 8D's on Symphony they will be re-categorized to 4D. Should that be a problem?

Could you please tell me if Luggage Valet was offered after the cruise from the Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL)? Thanks

I had sent Royal an e mail and received a response a couple of days ago. That does certainly seem odd with the schedule that is posted on the bands website but I suppose that the band could meet up with the ship in San Juan.
Hello Ken,Thank you for your email. We apologize for the delay in our response. The following entertainment is currently scheduled for the December 22, 2019 sailing of the Oasis of the Seas:Music Hall L.A.VationHeadliner Ronn Lucas VentriloquistI guess L.A.Vation will be joining us in a port as I just received confirmation from Royal:
I am happy to advise that the tribute band L.A.Vation is currently scheduled to be playing for your sailing. While all entertainment is subject to changed based on entertainer availability, they will be joined by comedians Don Grey and Rodney Johnson, ventriloquist Ronn Lucas, and ice star Sergii Shcherbinin as entertainers for your time onboard in addition to our larger productions.

They are only on for the Nov 24 and Dec 1 sailings.
I’m on-board on the week before you and it will be L.A.Vation a U2 tribute band playing in the music hall.

My family is on the 12/22 sailing. Ken, did you get this info from the cruise line? I have been searching tribute bands on the web to see who would be playing and sent Royal an email but have not received a reply. On the L.A.Vation website it says they are in the Netherlands on 12/23, so they would have to meet the ship in a port after that? I am a part time rock musician, and unfortunately for me, U2 is not one of my favorite bands😊.

For the first time ever actually had some OBC credit left at the end of our cruise on the Adventure in April. We wondered why our credit card was credited about $12 less than what was posted on our account the last morning. Now we know, mystery solved.

That is some good investigative work. We're cruising 11/26 and I was a bit worried. Appreciate your effort.
No problem, glad to help out.
We are not sailing on AOS until April. Hope everything stays on schedule.

No problem. We had the same station. The drill during our cruise was pretty short also:)

Just curious anyone know where Anthem Muster B02 is?
B2 is in the Music Hall, deck 4

Well, if Ds get kicked out of the DL, then all those folks will be doing their meetings somewhere else - RCI would be doing them a favor and forcing them to mingle outside of the DL.
While the DL is a nice place to meet new people, the wife and I go for some high quality cocktails before dinner :D. The pours in the DL are much more generous than the measured shots at the other bars that the vouchers provide.
We enjoy meeting interesting people all over the ship, not just in the DL. In fact we made some friends on our last cruise at the muster drill and hung out alot that week.

The southern Caribbean out of San Juan is awesome. We have done it several times on Adventure and Serenade.
I agree, it is our favorite itinerary, we have done it 3 times. I'm leaning towards the Adventure again and maybe should jump on it now while the price is good.

Unfortunately we can only cruise in the peak season. An August 2014 balcony on Explorer would cost $3650. The same cruise on Liberty would be $5500 almost 2k more. Our balcony on Allure this Summer was $2700 two nights shorter, but also a higher category.
If we were to sail on Adventure out of San Juan in August 2015 the price drops to $1700 for a balcony ($3800 difference) and we could get a Grand Suite for $3100. I realize the cruise is 2 nights shorter, but that is a drastic price difference leaving plenty of money for flights and a hotel. Unfortunately we have found that many times it is less costly to fly then sail out of Bayonne.
We do prefer the 9 night cruises by far, and were looking forward to sail from Bayonne in August 2015 for our 30th Anniversary, but $5500 is a joke.

Thank you for starting this thread. We are looking forward to hear some official news from RCI regarding the Quantum.

At last it has been revealed when new information will be released.
An invitation has been sent out to Pinnacle Members to join Royal at a Reveal Event to be held in New York on Wed 26th March :D
So at least we now know when we will all get more information about more "Firsts" :D
.
Thanks for the info. We are looking forward to some news and also hope to book a sailing for the summer of 2015.
