Just back from the Disney Dream transatlantic cruise, my goodness the conversations had in the steam room we’re very informative, great to understand life experience from guys all over the world

Exact same setup on Disney Fantasy, though there was very little conversation happening there.  I'm heading out on Disney Wish in September and looking at exploring there as well.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question - but if you're a member of the AARP rewards site, where do you navigate to on their website to purchase the discounted cards?  I can't for the life of me find it!

On the main AARP page click on AARP Rewards on the main header banner.  On the new page use the drop down box under Your Rewards Balance.  Click on Redeem .  Click on Members Only.

The Carnival Cards are the first two shown when I look at the offerings under Members Only.

Glad this method works out for you. It is a good way to save some money. Since I book with a TA generally, I can only use Carnival gift cards onboard and I don't usually spend enough to make it worth the effort.

I, too, use a TA and just give her the gift card numbers when making the deposit and future payments.  Your TA won't accept them for deposit and payment?

Will be sailing on The Majestic Princess 2 April Mexican Rivera.

Would like to know the set up for sauna and steam room on the Majestic

My gut tells me it is coed. Not looking forward to wearing A swim suite in the sauna...more interested in single sex sauna, condusive to good one on one male conversation.

Any information or suggestions on the Majestic sauna/stream room would be most appreciated

    Thank you.

I just returned from the March 19 Majestic Mexican Riviera.  There is no steam/sauna except in The Enclave and that is coed.  Disappointed in that.  The ship is quite nice but I won't be sailing on her again.  I do prefer that single-sex sauna/steam

So....those that snagged one before 12 noon, was it @ 70.00 or 90.00?   The Celebrity card changed after 12 Noon.   Went back in after clearing cache and got 2 of the Celebrity cards for the wife and I.  Can only use them with initial reservation, but still saved 60.00, so all is good.

Got the Carnival card early this morning for $70.

Has anyone used the Allstate Rewards cards for Princess?  Can you get those as E-cards and do they come immediately?  Thank u!

They have had Princess e-cards in the past but more recently they have only been the mailed cards.

Scheduled to sail the Carnival Radiance on 4/25/22. Selected this 4-night cruise now that I’m located on the west coast, have always been curious about Catalina Island and (having never sailed CCL) was curious to see how the line’s efforts to rebrand/remake their onboard experience manifests on a renovated/renamed vessel.

I believe the Carnival Radiance’s “sisters” (that already had their refurbishments) may have had their separate men’s steam & sauna facilities removed, but hoping they might still exist on this ship.

If I opt to keep this cruise booked, I’ll keep everyone apprised of my findings. If someone beats me to it, please report back!!

    Happy sails to you!

First night on a cruise, if you have dinner at Steakhouse you get either a bottle of house wine free or a bottle of wine on their list for half price.  I had dinner with my family, had a bottle of wine at half price and ordered more bottles of wine at half price for the rest of our cruise.  This was at least 4 years ago.  I hope it's still available!

We did this on Legend on our last Hawaii cruise and purchased 4 bottles at half price on the first night.  Now, they wouldn't sell them without uncorking and pouring (just a smidge) but that was fine and it worked out quite nicely for us.  That as well as the "Cruising the Vineyard" package kept us going for dinner time enjoyment.

Just looked at the rewards page and it looks like they have the $500 e-gift cards.

That e-gift card is new!  Glad to see it's back.  (Now, if only the other denominations would return.....)

    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this whole Allstate Rewards thing.

How do you know that the gift card discount is 12%?  Is it listed on the rewards page or do you only see it when you put some gift cards in your cart?  Also, has anyone ever see a greater discount than 12% using the Allstate Rewards?

Thanks for any insight. By the way, I am not an Allstate policy holder but did sign up for Drivewise.

It's currently 10%.  You will see the discount listed under the gift card you are purchasing.  I believe 12% has been the largest discount for Carnival cards but they did have a 15% discount for Princess on their $100 cards.

  11. Not from Canada but I am able to do it from Mexico.  I do need to use a VPN to log in and I'm fortunate enough to have friends/family in the states where I can have the cards sent.  You also might have issues on shipping if you don't have that type of contact.
