  1. Hi! So we got upgraded within the last 24 hours for our Allure of the Seas sailing that leaves tomorrow. We’re so excited because we’re on our honeymoon! But...how will this work? I have the app so I can use that for my new set sail pass. But what about my luggage tags? We can try to stop at a hotel tonight that has a printer but its freaking me out a bit.

Any similar experiences? Did the porters get new ones for you? Are you responsible for it? Heeellp!

  2. We booked a rainforest tour with Ellis for upcoming trip, he'll drop us at the fort. I'll post some notes when back.

Awesome!!!!! Let me know how it goes!!

Hello, we were in San Juan 4/25. My husband, myself and my 14 year old daughter booked a Segway tour through Segway Tours of Peurto Rico (https://www.tripadvisor.com/AttractionProductDetail-g147320-d11455173-Old_San_Juan_Segway_Tour-San_Juan_Puerto_Rico.html)

It was one of the best tours I have done during a cruise and it was the 1st time we were brave enough to book something different than a RCCL shore excursion. Our guide Jose gave us a great history of San Juan and personal insight into what it is like to live on the island. I would highly recommend it.

    Enjoy your trip!

OOO!!! That may be perfect!!! We were going to do an ATV tour. But those sometimes can be really hit or miss. It was a rainforest tour. I will definitely bring this up to my fiancé! THANK YOU!

  3. You are seriously planning to spend your wedding night at an entry-level Choice-group motel?

By all means change to a hotel overlooking the port such as the Hilton Marina or Pier Sixty Six. Or any hotel in the (very safe even in the middle of the night) SE 17 St area--driving in that late why stay at a cookie cutter airport hotel at a highway interchange when you could just as easily be as close to the port as possible. Though given that you will be checking out in only 8 or 9 hours the most important issue for you could be the ceiling over the bed being stain-free :o

We are staying in a hotel by our reception our wedding night. We are waking up the next morning and driving down. We are getting married in Indiana.

I haven't heard of Pier Sixty Six. I wasn't sure of the area either! So SE 17th street is super helpful. Thank you! I had only booked a hotel - with no idea if we would actually stay there or not lol.

  4. Royal has a habit of opening up reservations in large groups of cruises at the same time.

Check your cruise planner immediately. We have a B2B on Allure in September and I am booking reservations on both cruises with confirmations. I assume any and all cruises before September should be available also.

    I booked everything today!!! WOOHOO!

  5. I have cruised 15 times but I was super little the last time we cruised out of FLL. We usually do Port Canaveral. My mom said there may be some safety concerns in Fort. Lauderdale at some points.

I currently have Comfort Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port in Dania Beach booked for the night. But wanted to make sure it would be safe for us arriving around midnight - 2 am? We are driving straight down the morning after our wedding.

I love when we would wake up in P.C and see the ocean and or the cruises and get ready and be excited! Any hotels that would give me this in Port Everglades?

    TIA!!!!!

  6. Me and my fiancé are going on the Allure of the Seas sailing 8/5/18 for our honeymoon!!! I have never been to San Juan (this is my 15th cruise!) & he has never been out of the US or on a cruise.

What do you recommend for San Juan?? We are doing a snorkel / boat tour in St. Maarten and zip lining in Labadeee.

I looked into the ATV's. But I thought some sort of island tour / beach day would be perfect. We are there from 7 am- 2pm. So I don't want to get off the ship and go to a beach at 8 am lol.

Any help would be appreciated :D

  7. So, I haven't cruised RC in about 5 years. So I am not aware how their new booking system works. I have heard of people booking their shows, meals, etc., online but the shows are not showing up for me yet. We are about 103 days out - paid our final payment.

Do I have to wait until 90 days out to book this stuff?

Also, my mom could have swore that you didn't have to pay for your dining before the cruise but now it is taking me to a cart?

Any dining you recommend outside of the main dining rooms? We are doing my time dining!

This is our honeymoon (my 15th cruise, fiancé's first!)

    THANKS IN ADVANCE:)

  8. In Freeport you dock in an industrial area and have a long bus or cab ride to get to the other side of the island where the resorts are. (like 20-25 min)

Lots of fun stuff to do in Nassau.

Depends on what you are looking to do and what your budget is. (I can't even remember what I used to enjoy at 22)

Getting drunk on the cheap, than Junkanoo is an option. (It is a beach in the city, enough said)

A nicer beach and surroundings for your drinking, then a daypass at a Cable Beach hotel or Breezes, etc. might be your best option.

If cash is no object, then Atlantis might be a better day. (too Vegasy for my taste, but most seem to enjoy)

Also done dolphin/sea lion/beach day at Blue Lagoon, Ardastra Gardens, walking tours and had a blast doing each.

Trying the Graycliff for some fresh cigars and the Rum Distillery a week from today. (but those are old fart things to do. )

I went to Blue Lagoon a few years ago and loved it!! We might just do that or a resort day pass. My roommate and I don't want to make this a party cruise just a relaxing one :)

Would you say Freeport is a better place to shop and kind of just see the town?

  9. Looking for some recommendations on what to do in both places.

I've been to Nassau plenty of times but I've never been to Freeport.

My best friend and I are going on the Carnival Liberty for spring break in March. We want to go to the beach and maybe do a snorkeling excursion. We don't want to travel too far off the beaten path considering we're 2 22 year olds who don't want to get lost by ourselves somewhere not so safe.

I've read a lot about Junkanoo( I believe that is how it's spelt) in Nassau. Can anyone help here? I saw some catamaran excursions on Freeport but they didn't have the best responses from people.

Thanks for any and all help! (:
