Thank you!  Downloaded and see that the check-in process is available, including reserving my private car transfer.

There's also a choice to ACTIVATE THE BAND, where I can confirm my delivery details.

With booking the transfer, does it just let you input an address within the allowed distance limit and any time you like, or is it more restrictive then that? 🤔 Would love any more specifics around this if you can see them - thank you!

Before you get excited, this is USD! AUD is way more than US. So $10 will actually mean around $15 Australian

Yes, it was super painful that the $300 of bar tab credit I bought yesterday cost me $445 AUD 😭 I’m not looking forward to paying off the cruise balance in April.

  3. I’d love to know how possible it is to see/participate in all the entertainment options during the one 5 night cruise.

    - Drag Brunch

    - Scarlet Night party

    - Another Rose

    - Ships in the Night

    - Duel Reality

That’s all I know of so far 😊

Im coming from Australia and it’s unlikely I’ll be able to do another Virgin cruise anytime soon, so I hope to experience it all!!

  4. In case this info helps anybody else....

I live in Australia and will be travelling around Canada and the US for 9 weeks before boarding the VV cruise at the end of my holiday.

Since I won’t be home in the month before my cruise to receive my band, I live chatted them today.

They made a note on my booking for the band NOT to be posted out and said I could pick it up at the port on check-in. Phew! 🙂

  5. I have to agree.... I get plenty of emails about free bottles of Moet and free Sailer Loot (which I can’t take advantage of because they are only for new bookings!) yet no email to say details of Shore Tours have been released??

  6. I just got off the phone to Virgin.... I successfully (or so I thought) added the code last week. It says I’ve ‘Got Loot’ etc in my account but after the conversation on this thread I wanted to double check. The representative says the Sailer Loot onboard credit only applies to NEW bookings and not mine.... she said she could cancel my room and rebook it, but it would be at today’s price and since my suite category was sold out she couldn’t tell me what that would be, so if it was more then $400 it obviously wouldn’t be worth it to add this credit.

Pretty annoyed that it let me add the code and pretty clearly displays to me (especially when you click on the ‘tell me more’ tab) that I’ve got $400 credit when I apparently don’t. The code should have just not worked on my account, or it should have taken to me to ‘new booking’ page then so it was clear.

I pushed to see if there was anything else she could offer me in terms of perks but was told no, only the rebooking option, but since I booked so long ago I apparently got a good price so it likely wouldn’t be worth risking that.

At the rate they are going I doubt if they would ever get to 4 ships.  With the crappy ports they are going to very few people would want to sail with them.  We thought about it but are turned off by the destinations.  Have plenty of beaches in Florida. Why would we pay to go to another beach?  They need to re think where they are going.

Ummmm..... not everyone lives in Florida?? The ports might be crappy to you, but there is a whole big world of customers out there. I’ve never been to these ports and am excited to try them as well as the brand, as I’m sure many other are. There will be people cruising from all over the US and the world - I’m actually coming from Australia to do this cruise (and we have plenty of beaches too 😉

Unless I'm missing something, I'm still just seeing 4 & 5 nighters (to the same old places) -- the only exception being those two longer 'holiday cruises'. Just don't see how VV expects to attract any West Coast cruisers (or anyone who has to pony-up significant airfare) with those itineraries! 🙄

Well I’m coming all the way from Sydney Australia to do the 5 night Mayan Sol, so giddy up I guess!! 😂

  9. I'm not sure, hopefully someone can confirm? The Chops booking would be $200 AUD total for two people, for the special NYE menu, to be paid now when booking. I'd hate to spend that only to then have Wonderland become available, and not be able to cancel/ transfer Chops (as it says in the T&C). I wish all the options would become available at once! : ) Everything on my cruise planner has been drip fed.....

  10. Can anyone please confirm if Wonderland restaurant offers a special holiday menu for New Years Eve?

I've just had the NYE menu for Chops Grille appear in my cruise planner....... but Wonderland is the restaurant I'm really keen to try, so I would rather hold out if they are also going to do a special NYE menu.

The terms and conditions of the Chops booking says holiday menu's are non-refundable, otherwise I would book it and just cancel if Wonderland were to become available.

    Thank you : )

  11. Hello clear.png?emoji-smile-1742 Does anyone know how or when you see what NYE 'extras' are available to book?

Do they appear in your cruise planner, or are they organised once on board?

I'm sailing on Anthem, and while we *probably* won't pay extra to celebrate NYE, it would still be good to know what options will be available ahead of time.

    Thank you

  13. We have booked the Atlantis Aquaventure full day tour through RC, however the park closes at 5pm and the ship doesn't leave until midnight.

Has anyone been to dinner at Dunes at the One and Only Resort (where James Bond Casino Royale was filmed). Considering that, but after a day at the water park not sure if we will have time to get back to the boat, sufficiently glam up, and then get to Dunes....

Any other idea for night activities in Nassau - restaurants, bars, anything fun near the ship?
