I was put on hold for about 25 minutes, I thought it was doom and gloom for sure, but the reservation agent that finally answered the call was extremely helpful, she bent over backwards and went out of her way to cancel my existing booking that was canceled by the cruise line due to Covid and moved all the funds from my old booking to my new reservation.  She applied the cruise credits that carnival was offering due to the cancellation and was such a godsend.

The gym has ample treadmills, free weights, and machines. The sauna for men and women are separate areas with a lockeroom, shower facilities (with great shampoo and body wash), shaving gear, and lots of towels. The sauna seats 12 comfortably, and the large porthole provides for an excellent view of the passing scenery. Two steamrooms along with a dry heat, a heated bench, lemon flavored water for drinking, and floral scented showers are located in the Persian Garden. There's a daily and or weekly charge to enter the Persian garden, and its usually quiet in there. The steamroom has pin lights that change color for ambience, its a great place to relax.

NYK - the Japan parent company of Crystal has a ship called the ASUKA, it has a great japanese bath house facilities. With a shower room that you would in any 5 star japanese hotel. They have a hot tub, a cold plunge, and both steam and dry saunas. The soaps and shaving equipment are top of the line. They even have cold bottled water available at no charge for guest. The walls are glass with awesome views of the ocean, port, or scenery. Their gym facility is almost lacking, very little to now equipment, a couple of exercise bikes and a treadmill.

The Coral Princess has something similar to the Persian garden, but the staff isnt as attentive as Celebrity. Towels frequently ran out and no towels were available in the Mens only sauna. The gym was great with excellent threadmills and weight equipment. The shower in the sauna area was better than one we had in our balcony (BA) stateroom.
