They're our favorite cabins on M class.

    We've been in 8166 (3x) and 7202 once.

A year ago we were in Infinity 8166 going around South America.

It was a fifteen nighter and the extra space both in the cabin and balcony was great.

Although they're really not designed to house five people even though initially that's the required number to book these cabins early.

Just wanted you to know I truly appreciate your photos - I have 13 days to go and I can see myself having breakfast on the balcony!

  2. We were able to get FV 7202 corner aft cabin on Summit back in May 2015 for just the two of us out of Bayonne. Our cabin steward said we were lucky because during the summer months they want 5 in that cabin.

I am on a chartered cruise March 24 and my husband and I are in cabin 7202!!!

This entire thread just made me super super excited!!!!

  3. I am extremely happy to read this entire thread! Pre cruise we are staying at the Bahia Mar ( great rate that I could not pass up) even though I love the Embassy Suites on 17th! We are on the last chartered cruise which is a Reggae one near the end of March and I was curious to see how the stage would be set up outside. My first time on Summit and we have a FV room on deck 7. I am excited to see the balcony and I hope the noise from the top deck won't be an issue. So thank you for the pictures and all the commentary you just made me that more excited for our upcoming trip!!

  4. Wow I am very happy that someone shared their experience on a chartered cruise. I am going on the Reggae charter the end of March on the Summit and I wondered if the concerts will be held indoors or outdoors. and I also wondered about the lounges as every night is usually an after party and if it can really hold people. This is going to be the chartered first on Celebrity as it was previously held on Norwegian and because of the same food issue, it was moved to the Summit. I am hoping that we don't experience the same situation, but I truly appreciate your insight your recent experience.

  5. ok I just got an email that was much ado about nothing:

    Dear Valued Guest,

We have updated information about your sailing.

Allure of the Seas currently has a speed restriction that will result in slight adjustments to your itinerary. For your convenience, the updates are noted below. We apologize for this change, but have no doubt that your vacation will be nothing short of amazing. We can't wait to welcome you onboard.

    Happy sailing!

and that's it My sailing date is November 26th - should I be worried so far in advance?

  6. The refurb will be very similar to the improvements done to the Gem. Carpets, furniture, artwork for most of the staterooms and public areas and the remodeling of some of the restaurants. I think there will be a Bliss lounge makeover to replace the New Orleans cat house decor we have all grown to love. Also some reorganization around the pool deck. I hope they don't change the Great Outdoors area at all. Best outdoor space on any NCL ship.

Can all of that be done in two weeks? It just seems like its a lot to do in between two cruises especially when one is a specialty cruise with a stage setup
