  1. we arrived in Amsterdam for our Silhouette cruise today but our luggage did not! Trying to get JetBlue and Aer Lingus to find it but they are playing pass the blame. They say they will deliver to us when it is found but has anyone experienced this? We are going shopping quickly in the morning. We had packed a change of clothing in our carry on but that is going to get old real quick. My husband's sport coat and my dresses were in the luggage. Will Celebrity cut him a break or do we need to buy a new sport coat as well as new luggage, shoes etc. Anyone dealt with this before on a cruise. Thanks.

  2. We are new to cruising and will be on the Silhouette Baltic cruise on 8/23. I was just going over our paper work and got confused by Wangy26 post. We also have 150pp OBC as well as 2 perks. Are the perks per person or per cabin? We signed up for gratuities but would also like Internet. The drink packages don't work for us since I don't drink. I noticed that Wangy26 said their 2 perks were internet and tips for 1 person or 2? We are also thinking about using the OBC for speciality dining.

  3. My mistake, I meant we are doing the reverse but are leaving and returning to Amsterdam! I did find a list of ships visiting St. Petersburg on Aug. 28 and we are the only ship arriving that day. 4 more join us on the 29th. Hopefully that will help immigration.. As I said, other than a Rhine River Cruise and Jazz cruise (traveled with a performer) we have never been on a cruise and do not know what to expect. Your travelogue was wonderful, thank you.

  4. Thank you for your wonderful travel report and photos. My husband and I will be sailing on the Silhouette in late August but the reverse itinerary. We start in Tallinn. This is our first big cruise and your posts were very informative. I appreciate your advise about over analyzing between Alla and SPB. One important question relates to the immigration in St. Petersburg, my husband has mobility issues, he walks but standing around for long periods of time is really hard for him. Are there any handicap accesses or places where he can sit while we wait to disembark?

Also, we are debating whether it is worth it to take a Berlin Excursion. It seems to be a long train ride and then just a fairly quick bus tour of the highlights. Any thoughts? Thanks.
