Sherrie,
Thanks for that information.
I am still wondering if anyone has been in these cabins.....
If they are the normal size....bigger? smaller?
Thanks, Judy
Judy,
I stayed in 8101 in Sept. on Solstice and really liked the cabin. Our friends had a lower level category balcony on 7th floor, and our cabin seemed much more spacious and open. They had tight areas to get into closet and around foot of bed, and ours was much easier to move around and get into closet, etc. They even commented on how spacious ours was compared to their balcony cabin. Cabin seemed longer and even a bit wider. The window ledge was probably 4 feet long (since the window is angled) and you could even store a few things on that. There's about a 3 foot space between end of couch and window wall, so there was plenty of space for suitcases, etc there too. Window was nice and big, so made room feel light and airy. You're at the front, so you do feel a bit more of the vibration or movement at times then in the middle of the ship, and you can hear anchors and noise when coming into port or tendering, but not bad enough to keep me from getting the cabin again. In fact, just booked a transatlantic on Eclipse in 8102 right next to the one I had in Sept. on the Solstice. I never posted photos here, but I'll try to figure out how to do it and post some photos of the cabin. I've been on many cruises and have had lots of balcony cabins as well as a few inside and ocean views, but this front ocean view cabin on the Solstice class is probably near the top as far as my favorite cabin. joel

I'll e-mail you a few pictures from my home computer tonight to give you an idea what the cabin looks like. I was on a Rome r/t in the Med. and Greek Isles on the Solstice - my new favorite ship. Joel
