If Celebrity and the CEO are leaning towards younger people to fill the cabins, boy are they in for a rude awakening! Younger people don't have any money! They live off credit cards and can't even afford to pay them off once they are maxed out. Older and retired people are the one's with the money!!! Just Saying!!

NOT CELEBRITY! There isn't nothing really for little kids to do outside the kids club. Tale them on a cruise ship geared toward kids! Like Disney. If not then Royal Caribbean with the water kids zone on the lido. Those little ones have so much fun on those ships. Those little ones will be so bored on Celebrity!

We have a Christmas cruise (12/22/2023 to )1/02/2024) and I am trying to book specialty dining pre cruise and there is nothing there? Says Amazing experiences
coming soon! Now I can go to our cruise for next December and it comes up? That one isn't over Christmas though it's right before! Is it because it's a Christmas cruise or something else?? I can book my excrusion's but not specialty dining? -

Did you happen to notice if they had chicken or tuna salad on the lunch buffet?
Yes they did have chicken and tuna salad! It was good but I always like a good turkey sandwhich for lunch and was disappointed they only had it 1 day out of the 16 days we were on the Reflection for the Christmas/New Year cruise !

Can't be any worse than having bologna and cheap lunchmeat in the OVC for lunch instead of the good lunchmeat they used to have like turkey!! Who put's bologna on a buffet (Everyday)! I thought Celebrity was a Luxury cruise line? They sure do advertise as a luxary cruiseline. For a minute I thought I was on a budget cruiseline. In my opinion the food quality has gone way down since we cruised last December 2022! We pay high prices for our cabins and get low budget food quality for a luxury cruise line! JMO

We just booked a Greenland/Iceland B2B on the Eclipse from NJ and returning to Boston for August 2024. Suggestions wanted for shore excrusion's from anyone who's done this cruise! We have no idea what to do to get the best experience while there!

Anyone???? Wanting to know before we board!
-
Wondering what % of people on the Silhouette got covid and what % is in quarantine? Can anyone on the ship let us know!
-
Wouldn't do any good! Someone I know got the second booster shot and STILL ended up with covid!!
Somewhere somehow this testing has got to stop or eventually no one will be cruising because they were denied boarding because they tested positive for covid,Covid is here to stay and isn't going away any time soon! Cruiselines won't be able to take the hit much longer refunding people's money with so many people getting covid now!!!! JMO- 1

I have an interest in this as well.We have a land/cruise coming up in July.It.s an 18 day land first going from Vancouver up through the Yukon back into Alaska and down to Whitter to get on the cruise ship.I can't find any informative information as to how many covid test we will have to take during the 18 days? Who will pay for the quaratine for 14 days if we test positive? Let alone going on ARRIVCAN to let Canada know our travel plans for entering and leaving. This is giving me axniety! Seems like too many hoops to go through just to go to Alaska and Canada!!!

Wow. I thought everything had to be in their view all the time. No sense in it otherwise
It does. When we did our tests we waited 15 minutes and someone came back on and we had to show them on camera the covid test with the result on the stick!

I think there are a lot of us wondering the same thing.I got anxiety thinking about all the Canadian covid protocol and how many test will we have to do in order to do the 18 day land/cruise through the Yukon up to Alaska and back down to Whitter to catch the cruise ship back to Vancouver. Who pays for what? Who pays if we get covid to quarantine for 14 days! Too many questions and I'm not really finding any good answers.I did email Holland and all I got was a link to their webpage! SMDH🤔
I am serious thinking of canceling till we get back to some kind of normal whatever that might be! -
So If and that's a big IF someone tests positive on the ship or on the land part of a vacation, does Holland America pay for the hotel for the 14 days or are we responsible for that? Curious as to who pays for what while on a land/cruise vacation beginning and ending in Vancouver?
-
Good news to hear about cruises to and from Vancouver BUT no directions as to what are we going to do about the covid protocol for us taking a land/cruise vacation .What is going to be the protocol for the land portoin? We got an land first then the cruise starting then ending in Vancouver,Going into the interior of the Yukon for a few days ending in Whitter to get on the ship!! Anyone have any ideas as to what might happen with that?
-
NOT A SALE! I repriced a cruise and it was 200.00 MORE!😂
-
Following. We also have an 18 day land/cruise starting with the land part July 27th and ending with the cruise part on August 7th back to Vancouver. Our final payment is April 28th and don't want to commit that amount if covid restriction are gonna interfer with that! Some articles say Alaska cruise season may be in jeopardy if Canada covid restrictions stay in effect.Hope we and everyone else get to go this year because ours was canceled last year because of Canadas and the CDC restrictions on covid!!!

To be clear, this article was from YESTERDAY!

I read an article today about Alaska cruises in jeopardy for the 2022 season because of Canada's strict covid rules. does anyone else hear or have any info about this?

Seriously now-how many of you are REALLY looking at other cruise lines because of the CEO's changes going on?

Whit all the cut backs going on and prices going up for poor quality of food and everything else being cut. We have a B2B on the Beyond in December 2023 and this will be our deciding point IF we cruise on Celebrity in the future. We also have a B2B next December2024 on the Beyond booked. If we are not satisfied or happy with this December's B2B ,I'm gonna cancel for next year and look at other cruise line's for my annual cruise's! Looks to me like Celebrity is cutting off their own nose's to spite their own face's! You know it must be bad if their most loyal elite plus customers are looking at other cruise line's AKA (Jim and Iain). I was shocked when I read their posts last week!!!! SMH
