I've had loads cancelled and never had long to wait for a refund.
The excursions we booked we had refunded the day after.

Thank you everyone for advice. Have joined the FB group. Tui have started their river cruises. We are booked for Christmas markets five days. We love Christmas markets & going to different ones each day appealed to us.
We are on a Xmas Market one as well. We normally go to Germany/Austria each year so thought we would try this and get to do more.
We are slightly worried in case the cruise doesn't suit us but without trying it's hard to say. Not sure if we will like the small boats, but then you never know x x

Hi
I have been looking at booking a river cruise Dec 2022,
I have been looking at viking but when I go on the website it takes me to the U. S site and when I've gone through my cruise club they aren't coming up.
Does anyone know if these may still go ahead, I'm doing the Rhine this year so wanted to do the Danube next.
Cheers

Hi
Thanks for the replies.
I have seen a ncl from Southampton around Norway, Iceland area which will be nice not to fly.

Agree, i'm quickly going off Marella. I think they need to re-think itineraries and future ships going forward. Last cruise i did was on NCL and it was far better tbh, more facilities, all inclusive and less price in total.
We, are feeling the same, nothing new really. I did notice that there is a iceland/Arctic one fron Newcastle this Sept but nothing mentioned for next year.
Can I ask a question, we have been looking at ncl for a while, are they worth going with, they do a iceland one next Sept we may think about.

Hi does anyone know when the Xmas 2022 cruises come out

Hi
When I mentioned this to the company they said it will be around Oct to Nov time.

If I've looked at it right the gaps just look like spaces next to stairs etc but I may have got that wrong.
I can't comment on deck 2 as we always stay on deck 8 and personally stay away from the lifts and stairs if possible. Personally I would look at around 2039 ish if I was going on that deck, my OH is very picky about his cabin.
The ship is lovely, been on it a few times.

We are doing Flavours of the Caribbean followed by Exotic Explorer in March, and personally can't wait, I would always choose this but that's because Cuba is in there.
We have done the Panama one before, I wasn't keen on Columbia but that is just me. A trip through the canal is a long day but worth it, saying that the trip was 3 hours late getting back. 😁

We were booked on that cruise and swapped to one in Oct which visits some of the same places but on the Discovery 2.
We werent sure what to do but with the incentive and discounts got a suite, extra room seats on the plane all for 600 cheaper than the original holiday.
We keep looking at other companies but always come back to tui, mainly as other half won't pay tips or for drinks 😁😁

That amazes me, lots of other cruise lines are already publishing their winter 22/23 schedules, Marella run the risk of missing out.
Completely agree, we are already looking at Nov 22 and March 23 so may have to go for another company, hopefully they may bring it forward.

Hi
I have just spoken to tui and mentioned the cruises from Nov 22. She said they aren't planning on releasing them until Nov. They have no idea what destinations they may be doing.
Hope this helps

We've done an excursion to a plantation house with afternoon tea, which was very good

I am waiting for an answer from a family member who works for the company, as I have been looking for winter 22_23 as well. I will post when I hear anything.

Any idea when winter 22/23 will be on sale

Our cruise for 7th March was cancelled last week and we got our refund yesterday.
Hopefully the next 2 will go ahead.

Hi
We are looking at booking another cruise for late next year.
Has anyone booked when they are on a ship, we have a couple already booked and was wondering what type of offers they may have so wether it's worth waiting till on board.
Also would they match the online price as our travel agents will.
Thanks

I was told this morning in a Tui shop that it has been put back until the 11th for some cruises, they think it will be the far East and they expect the rest maybe a week after.
Can't wait, already picked mine.....

Hi
I am looking to book our next trip, even though we promised we were going to have a year off 😁, and interested in the Fire and Ice next August.
Has any one been , is it worth it and what was the sea like around there.
It's a choice between that and another that does Venice etc
Cheers

We got off Discovery last night. Martyn is CD and the assistants are Aaron and Dylan. Dylan we had not seen before but we weren't that keen. The entertainment hosts are still the same, Sohail, Louie, Natalie and Sophie.
The bands are B12 and Entourage.
-
I was talking about that this morning as we go next week.
It's not Adam as he's on the Dream. We always seem to get Gavin, I'm sure he follows us😁.
-
We are back on the Discovery in Feb doing the Far East.
It coincides with our 25th anniversary...
Looking forward to it as we would never have gone to that part of the world.

It has been reported she climbed over and jumped, but then you never know with the papers

Which cruise line?
hi
NCL compared to Thomsons, though any others that do the freedom dining and inclusive drinks would also be great. :D
Danube Dec 2023
in Saga Cruises
Posted
Hi,
Just wondering if any one has a rough idea when the river cruises for December 23 will be out. We normally go with another company but am looking to do the Danube which they don't offer at that time of year. I did email Saga a couple of weeks ago but still not heard from them.
Also for those who have been with them how formal/relaxed is it. Do they have set meal times or are you given a window of when you can turn up. We aren't really big fans of everything being fixed down to specific times.
Thanks
