I don't  mean  to  hijack  this  thread ,  but  I  also  have  a  question  about  the  photo  packages.   We are sailing  on  the  Adventure  in July  and  a few months  back  I was looking  at  the  photo  packages.   At that  time  they were offering  3 types of  packages . . . Digital  only,  Prints only ,  or a combination  of  Digital  and Prints.  Now  I  only  find the Digital  Package  available .   Is this  something  new ?  I would  really  prefer  the prints.  Is this  something  we can  purchase  once  on board ?   TIA   ( and I  apologize  to the  OP   ).

We like  to  bring  an over-the -door shoe bag.  We hang it on the outside  the bathroom  door  and store our sunscreen , lotions, lanyards ,  chargers, etc. in it.  It really  frees up the limited  counter space .  Another tip I have  read about, but never used, was to bring a small  blow up swimming  pool from  the  dollar  store  to use inside  the  shower to bathe small  children   ( which I  don't  have  ).  One last tip is to decorate  the cabin door  to help locate your  room easier .   Just don't  put up anything  that you'd  hate to have taken.  Sometimes  people decide  it's  funny  to steal other  people 's things . 

Just  wanted  to  throw  my opinion  out there....  I  would  suggest  that you look  into  MSC .   We have  sailed  many lines ( Royal ,  Princess , Disney ,  MSC  and Norwegian  ).  MSC  was definitely  a  "different  " experience ,  but not  in a bad way.  We loved everything  about both the Divina  and the Seaside ,  and the fact that they matched our loyalty  level  was an added  bonus .  They offer some  great  deals .  Give them  a look.

We will be sailing  out of Bayonne , NJ ,  Port Liberty  in late July .   Will we be able to  see the  9/11 Teardrop  Memorial  from the ship ( the Adventure  )  , or is this  something  we would  have to  visit  before we board ?   Also,  is the Statue of  Liberty  visible  when  we sail out of Port Liberty  or only to cruisers going out of  the  New York port ?  My grandchildren  are  very excited  to  see  these statues.   TIA !  

Be sure to  pack  long pants and socks  for your  boys if they  are planning  to  go ice skating .   Long pants are required .

Loved  every  minute  of  reading  your  review .   Sounds like  you  all  had  a  great  time  in spite  of  the  snafus.   I do  have  a question  about  parking  at the port.  You seem  like  a  person  who  does the  research  pre-cruise . . . So did you  look into  other parking options  or simply decide that parking at the port was just easiest ?  Do you  mind  sharing  the costs ?    We are driving  over to  NJ  from the Pittsburgh  area and cruising  on a 10  day on the Adventure  so we're  trying  to  save  a  little  money  if possible .   TIA

I  have  a  few  questions  about  renting  jet skis   ( wave runners ) on Labadee.

1.  Are these only rented as an excursion, or can you  just walk up on the day of and rent one?

2.  Are there any restrictions   ( age, height ,  weight, ) etc.?

3.  Are you  free to  go off on your own   (within  a  certain  area ) or is it a follow  the  leader type activity ? 

4.  Can you  tell  me  approximately  how  much  they  charge  per  hour ,  or how long you get to ride if it's  done  as an excursion ?

Can someone  tell  me  the  cost  of  the  meal  now?   Also ,  is the price  lower for kids meals.   I  also  understand  that  the  milkshakes  are an additional  charge  unless you have the deluxe  drink  package . Does that also include the  refreshment  package ?   TIA     BTW  we will be cruising  on the  Allure  if that matters .

I read on a Facebook  post that the medical  emergency  was a one year old child.   Please pray for this  child . 

My daughter  just decided to join us  on the June  2nd  sailing  on  the  Allure  so she booked  this past Friday  May 24th .   She chose  balcony  guarantee  and was given  her cabin  assignment  today May 25th .   She  was  given  cabin  6714 which  is  directly  across  the  hall  from  the back of Johnny   Rockets .   We think  this is  a  good  selection ,  of course  we haven't  sailed  yet.  I did post a question  about the  noise  level  there and every one  who answered  said they experienced  zero  problems .  Fingers  crossed !

Can  someone  please  tell  me  how  much  it  costs  to  park  at  Port  Everglades ? 

I  apologize  in advance but I  can't  find the  answer to  this  question  in the search feature .    Can someone  please  tell  me  how  much  it costs  to  park at the Port  Everglades  and if it is a parking  garage  or lot parking .   Also is it a safe area to leave our car for the  week .   Thank you  so much !   I  am  not  too  good  at this posting stuff .

Once  again  thank  you  so  much  for  your  review .   I  love  cruising  along with  you .   Love the reviews ,  double  love the pictures , and triple  love  the clarity  of the menus and Cruise  Compass  .  One thing  I  did not see is the mention  of  the  Meet  and  Mingle .   Was it  held on day 2, and can you  tell  me  what time and place ?   I  love  your  countdown  calendar  for your  next cruise .  Actually ,  I  am  a  little  jealous !   Enjoy  your  last sea day  !    Thanks  again !  

I  have  been  wondering  about  something .   Are the daily   Cruise  Compasses printed on  board  the  individual  ships?  Like  is there a print shop  on board  somewhere?  I   know  they print "special"  ones if there is an unscheduled  change.   I  can't  imagine  how  many  they print  each week !   It must  be  a  big under taking . 

Sorry  if this  seems  silly.   Sometimes  my mind goes outside  the  box .  I'm  amazed  by  silly  things . 

So what  is  your  opinion  of the  chocolate  ketchup  and chocolate  grilled  cheese  sandwich ?    Doesn't  sound too appealing  to  me.  Thanks  for  sharing  the pictures ,  because  I  couldn't  wrap my  head  around  what those  would  look  like .
