  1. My sister got married in Feb on Cozumel. We were on the Independence of the Seas on RCCL but we chose to do our own wedding through wedding planners of Cozumel. I have to say they did not disappoint. The wedding was at Mr. Sanchos and was amazing. The coordinators were on top of everything and everything went so smoothly. The set up was perfect, flowers were beautiful, food was delicious. I found this group cruise critic and I can't recommend them enough. The bride and groom were blown away and our entire family thought they exceeded expectations. While we don't have pictures or video yet, we were very pleased with photographer and videographer's time and effort during the ceremony and reception. I am happy to answer any questions, but I can't recommend them enough, simply amazing.

Hello! This makes me so excited for my wedding! We will be going on the Carnival Cruise Fantasy. We have selected the basic package. No reception. Would you say the reception part was worth it? Did you/ your sister have an reception. My wedding will most likely be in the morning 10-11am. I will be having a minister at the wedding we will have a civil and religious wedding. Is that something your sister did? Did your sister get her marriage license through Mexico or before she left the states, where I believe it is 15 days before sailing we have to send our blood test from the doctor to them. After the wedding does the resort let you stay there or do you have to leave right way? Also going back to the ship the transportation we pre paid for that was for round trip correct?

Sorry for all the questions! Thanks!

  2. Hiii! It was about $3,500 for the basic package - minister, wedding coordinator at site, wedding hostess back on board, two hour reception for first 20 people (hors dveours, open bar, cake, champagne), transportation for the groom and I. It was an additional $36/person after 20 people. The flower arch, mariachi, chairs, transportation were extra. Arch was $600, mariachi $600, chairs $3.50/person, transportation $18/person. The photographer is included but of course pictures and video are extra. I think my video was about $800.You have the option to do your ceremony directly with Cozumel Wedding Planner. I wish I knew beforehand - it was about half the price! But I wasn't allowed to do any add ons or cancel after I found out. And then the reception you can do w carnival or you can also do your reception with cozumel wedding planners.

  3. It was somewhere between $5,000-$7,000. I forget where we finally ended up after fine tuning everything. There were things that I splurged on and definitely places where cutting back would be doable. They are really flexible with customization and in my experience would be happy to help you create the wedding that's best for you. Seriously, I couldn't say enough good things. On their website, you can create your package through one of the tabs at the top of the page. This doesn't commit you to anything, and will give you a more precise idea of what it would cost.

Did you get married, receive you license and certificate though Mr. Sancho as well? We are having the cruise line and the wedding experience handle the planning. Our wedding will be this September 2017. And I just want to make sure everything goes smoothly.

  4. Yes, we will be on the cruise :) the 6 day on Carnival Vista. I did book the bridal room. Our ceremony starts at 1. We are doing everything through Cozumel Wedding Planner.

Booking through Cozumel wedding planner. There is a chance of not making port correct and going to a different one they can change any time. Since we are traveling during hurricane season that is what I am most worried about. In the case booking through them what would happen?

The wedding experience and the cruise makes other arrangements.

  5. We're getting marri d on the same day 😊😊😊 are you getting married in Cozumel or on the ship? We're actually getting legally married here at home and just doing a commitment ceremony in Cozumel!

We are getting married in Cozumel. Having the cruise line and the wedding experience take care of everything. They told me there was another wedding that day. Will you be on the cruise as well? Did you book the bridal room at Cozumel? If not then there is another wedding.
