It only shows the bid strength on a computer on a phone it doesn't show. And to see if it's processing go back in and click on your bid and a list should appear with all your bids.

are carry on which you carry on the first day with anything you need before you room is ready most people bring like a change of clothes, a swimsuit, passport, id, insurance card, boarding pass, a lanyard and all the documents to get on the boat.... and then we turn it into an excursion bag for the week once the room Is ready with a water bottle, towel , poncho, documents/ money, sunscreen. Also in my packing, I have my own personal mini pharmacy bag things are way expensive on the boat and normally I just refill as needed and keep with my luggage.

And what do you advise for the male of the species ?????
If your cruising I would still suggest most of this you probably don't need like elegant dress, sun dresses, cover up , bras, night gowns, perfume. You could bring a suit , a pool side tshirt/ wife beater, I would bring like nice shorts polo style and probably some basket ball shorts, I feel like most guys sleep in boxers so wouldn't worry to much about that, and maybe some like old spice body spray. My husband brings sandals and a pair of flip flops, if we plan on doing any hiking type excursions he will bring his hiking boots. He also always brings a pair of jeans and a hoodie.

Here's what I pack so I don't have to buy anything extra on bored. Once your own the boat things like sunscreen are more expensive. This is a good base for new cruisers. Feel free to add any other tips or tricks on packing and what you bring.

Yes I booked directly from ncl. Some travel agents opt out so if you booked through one call and see if there opted in or not

I am confused. I thought the bid emails come close to when you are leaving on the cruise. It seems that some are getting 90 days in advance (see multiple people commenting on the upgrade email for Sept cruise).
Thanks in advance for your insight.

The email is about 80 days out and they can accept it anytime but most bids get accepted 10-2 days before your cruise

I just got my upgrade invite and could use some help (clarification).
If I enter a bid of $400 for 2 persons to upgrade is this for the full 7 days of the cruise? Or will NCL multiply this amount by 7 because it's per person per day, and charge my credit card $2800?
Want to try it...afraid it will be more than I had intended!
If you bid 400$ then it's 800 total you have to pay for first and second guest

Has anyone experienced what the upgrade does to your Travel Insurance? I am currently in an inside cabin for a cruise in 2 weeks and would really like to upgrade to a balcony however I'm not real sure how much my insurance will go up. My booking is through the casino and my wife and my fare was free. We paid for my son and fees and taxes. Insurance was just 29 pp for my wife and I so I took it. 99 for my son. I based my bid based on the fee range for travel insurance to minimize it. But that is one big unknown.
I bid 240pp for balcony.
They will automatically up charge your insurance. If it's throw norweigon.

Here's what my email looked like I received it about 80 days out. I originally booked midship balcony. I decided to try for the haven spa and bid minimum bid of 400$ pp. I haven't Hurd back yet and hear most people hear back around 1 week before there sail date.

Yes this is a Caribbean list. On norweigon you have to have a card in the spot in the room to keep the lights and ac running other wise they turn off when you leave. The bungee cords are for some balcony doors so they don't slam shut with wind.
