  1. Royal has to also cater to people who want enhanced experiences. If people are willing to pay that’s their thing. But to cancel others out is not good. Start the reservations with the paid experience in mind and don’t overbook the theatre. For those who want to pay. Have a great time I guess. No different than paying for specialty restaurants when the MDR is included IMO

  2. You can get them for Royal Caribbean and Carnival. However, Royal's cards have restrictions on how you can use them, while Carnival's do not. For the RCL cards, you can only apply them to a NEW cruise, not one you have already booked and you cannot use it to buy OBC or Cruise Cash.

Thanks. When you say “booked” what if you haven’t made the final payment yet? Can you use it then?

  3. There is a train of thought that wine, especially white wines that are high in acid, are helpful. I've read that Chardonnay, in particular, is quite effective. Supposedly, it isn't the alcohol but a property in the grape skins. Well, it's worth a try anyway ... seems to have always worked for us.

No wonder I don’t get sick. Love my Chardonnay [emoji3]

  4. If you fly, take a decongestant such as Sudafed on flight day and maybe day after. Rest before the cruise. People do so much to get ready they board the ship run down with immune system low. Wash hands more than you want to on the ship. Keep hands off your face. (Google how often we touch our face each day). If you sneeze or have a runny nose, an antihistamine like Zyrtec or Claritin will help. Most people suffer because they are congested or just plain tired.
