I’m confused, if I have to cancel for a medical reason A Doctor’s report is needed in order to get cash reimbursement, that has always been the policy so what’s the big deal with cancel for any reason.

Thank you all for easing my anxiety, no more wasted energy or angst over medallion.😎

In 2019 we sailed with medallion, no problem. I’m currently trying to log in but no go, it shows the days till I sail (July 2) but will not allow me to sign in. Went to chat and after an exhausting process where my problem was escalated up the ladder I was told they needed to fix something in my Captains Circle profile and I should wait and sign in later. Still unable to sign In. I’m done and want to know what paper work I need to check in at the pier. It gives me anxiety to arrive at the pier with my DH and not be allowed to board but I’ve exhausted all the suggestions given on these boards and still I’m rejected. If you arrived at the pier without the medallion completed please help me and let me know what I need to board. Thank you

HELP!! I’m done with the medallion😢 the frustration isn’t worth it. What do I need to present on boarding without a medallion? Better yet is there a way to check in on line the old fashion way, it keeps directing me back to the cursed 🤬medallion. Thank you

Are there any reports regarding COVID on Enchantment at this time?

I’ve read F315 is adjacent to a fire door and can be noisy since the door bang shut constantly. Has that been fixed or is it still a problem along with smoke from the casino. It was offered to me as a handicap cabin but I’m reluctant to book it. Thanks

I’m confused regarding the Princess Vacation Protection policy. I need to cancel and have an illness that is pre existing. I read the policy and cannot understand the Cancel for any reason clause; does that cancel out the 60 day pre existing condition clause? Any help will be appreciated.

In a cursory look at this plan I’m uncertain if it covers pre existing conditions. Any info would be appreciated.[

OK I’m done! Tried every suggestion and nothing works. What do I need to board without a working medallion? I have my booking number, vaccine card, credit card, what else do they require?
Funny thing is in 2019 we sailed twice with the medallion, the new and improved medallion is beyond frustrating. I’m fearful they will not acknowledge my booking number at the port, then what….
Please, advice needed.

Is it possible to sail without the medallion?

Pirate, thank you found the info needed.

Thrilled to be cruising this November but DH will need to rent a mobility scooter for the first time, I have no idea how to go about having one delivered to the ship.
We were lucky enough to book a handicap stateroom so there should be room for storing when not using. If anyone has experienced renting a scooter please give me the name of the company and your experience. My fear is it will not show up and then what, so reliability is important. Thanks, Kathleen

Winner of the Alaskan Voyage photo contest. You really need to have this made into a print AND submit it to Princess in one of their photo contests. Absolutely spectacular.
Wow stunning, thank you…

Ok, lets agree that there are pros and cons. As one who has spent far more then 1000 nights sleeping in balcony cabins here is my big negative! There are many mornings when I will wake up before DW and my normal practice is to quietly go out onto our balcony/verandah where I relax with my Kindle and the view while DW continues to sleep in the cabin. And it might be the same in late afternoons when DW might want to take a nap and I will sit on the veranda with a glass of wine and a good book. The balcony is almost like having a 2 room cabin. With the IV none of this is possible. If I were to get up early and open the window it would surely disturb DW (not to mention turn off the A/C. I honestly think the IV cabins as a deluxe outside cabin (not a balcony cabin) with a window that opens. This is much different then a balcony that can be sealed off from the cabin via a soundproof door.
Hank
Hank I have the same routine and agree that an IV would be a problem for me. So happy I read your note since I too think a regular balcony is almost like having a 2 room cabin, it’s important for me to be able to sit outside with the balcony doors closed and not hear the TV while I read and have privacy while doing so.

I just saw a news article that Celebrity has dropped their vaccination requirement for passengers sailing out of Port Everglades. Is that the port you are sailing from?
Yes, thanks I will check it out.

I’m disappointed Princess doesn’t have Caribbean cruises listed on their website for Summer 2021. I’ve resorted to sailing Celebrity Equinox in August 2021. The other cruise lines all have Caribbean cruises for sale. What’s up with Princess?

YES!! I would wear a full body condom if it would get me on a ship.

Thank you all for the information. I now feel hopeful that we will be able to continue to sail with the help of Luggage Valet.👍
Cruise Raider thank you for your post, it helps to know your friends found it “invaluable”. I refuse to allow ageing to stop our
Joy of cruising.

I love the idea of not having to schlep luggage through airports but I’m ambivalent about the fact the luggage may not be in my stateroom when I arrive and $500 isn’t going to cut it. On the other hand if they pick up the luggage 2 weeks before the cruise I should have the ability to tract the luggage and know if it has arrived before we leave.
Since we are up in years it is becoming more and more difficult to manage the luggage issue. The gangways are long and steep and the last time we cruised my DH (86) almost collapsed. We are avid cruisers and don’t want age to limit our cruising so I’m
trying to be pro active and solve some of the physical challenges. LOL

We will be sailing out of Rome and would like to have our luggage delivered directly to the ship from our home. Has anyone used such a service?
Thanks
