I so wanted to get this picture on our first visit to the island. Great timing for that one - still recovering from a hurricane so no traffic (or at least VERY little) and I didn't even get to see a plane land. Still on my list for a future cruise.

Install Adblock Plus. It's free. I never see any adds on CC.
Yes, that is the one I installed. But, I needed to install the "new" version of Microsoft Edge to be able to use it as an extension.

A follow up on my post starting this thread. I have installed the "new" Microsoft Edge and added an ad blocker extension. Have logged onto CC several times and have had ZERO pop up ads and have not seen the "your virus subscription has expired" screen. I so want to claim total success but, being a pessimist, I need to see this same "none event" for a bit longer before breaking out in my "happy dance".

Perhaps I clicked on an Ad by mistake. Do you mean ads down right side of page ? Which ad blocker do you use ?
Edit: I am using the new Edge and saw an ad blocker in Microsoft store, giving it a try, thanks
Tedferg I did the exact same thing (including adding an ad blocker extension). Just test running it now. I hope this clears up the problems I have been experiencing. I hated to shut down the browser just to get rid of "your Norton subscription expired, click here now". I do not now, nor ever have I, subscribed to Norton products.

I am getting a full screen Norton popup that will not clear. I have to shut down my browser to clear it. Is anyone else seeing this problem? I have cleared browser cache more than once and still get this.

Sitting here at home feeling sorry for myself (and all the rest the cruising world) and hoping (fingers crossed) that we WILL be able to take 2 cruises scheduled for later in the year (September and November). At the same time feeling blessed that we were able to do a B2B earlier this year before all **** broke loose. I keep reviewing the pictures I was able to take earlier this year.
Here is one of the Ushuaia, Argentina "yacht club" on a rare sunny day in January taken from our balcony on the Eclipse.

We were on Eclipse and crossed the Horn in mid-January. Not much of an E-Ticket ride. We could barely see anything due to rain, wind and fog,
TeeRick, when we went back again on the Antarctica cruise it was sunny. 😄😄😄

Email the Arc Recoleta - they have offered to arrange a car and driver for us next February for a price of 1150 pesos or $30 USD.
Thank you for the information. This sounds like a good plan.

We will also be interested in information generated by your post. We will be staying in the ARC Recoleta hotel for a few days after the Antarctica cruise. We have transportation (and a city tour) arranged for our arrival back in BA but have not yet resolved transportation from the hotel to EZE on the day we are heading back home.

Thank you for the advice on Recoleta! My pup is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Is your baby a poodle?
TeeRick,
We are booked at a hotel in the Recoleta area (Arc Recoleta). Can't give you a personal recommendation since we have never been in BA. Chose the hotel by the area.

Thanks for sharing your review. We were on the same cruise but were doing different excursions so you have given us a great view of some of the things we missed. This was our first venture into this part of the world and it was somewhat overwhelming. Petra was our highlight of this cruise and we agree that the weather was MUCH better than we expected that day.

Hi - I went to the Celebrity site to check out the Dublin to Iceland 10 day cruise on the Reflection and it's gone!
It's a cruise we were thinking of booking during our Caribbean cruise next month. It was there a while ago..does anyone know if it was cancelled? The May 6th sailing is still listed.
Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hope this was just a fluke for you. I just checked the X site and found Reflection cruises for the T/A on April 22, the Ireland-Iceland cruise on May 6, the Ireland-Iceland cruise on May 16, and the Norwegian Fjords on May 26. You had me worried as we are booked on the T/A and Ireland-Iceland on May 6. Basis previous experience with the X site, it would not surprise me if you just hit it during one of their "glitch" times. At least that's what I hope happened.

Let me try again. Do you see this?
Definitely see the picture now. Not familiar with this activity but it does look interesting. Bet it can result in a good workout.

You can download AdBlock Plus for free. Just Google it and click on the website. I haven't seen an ad here for years. :D
Another big Thank You for this post. It makes a HUGE difference. Prior to adding this extension I would get so frustrated that I would just log out. Particularly when trying to read the forum at night.

Celebrity Infinity used to do rount trip from Ft. L to Calif. I don't belive they do that anymore. We have been looking for full transit for some years now and I have called other cruise lines but they said they only do partial tranist. I did that on a tour boat in 1970 Panama City to Colon and then took train back.
Celebrity still cruises Panama Canal full transits. A 15 day Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale cruise leaves on Oct. 9. We are booked on the return (Fort Lauderdale to San Diego) leaving on Oct. 24. They also show 5 full transits during 2018.

So great to see a picture of this. Our cruise from San Antonio to Buenos Aires this year bypassed Punta del Este because of bad weather. We did see Montevideo. We had a shore excursion to see this and a couple of other sights in Punta del Este. Oh well, it just means we look for another SA cruise (we loved the one we took this year).
