  1. another comment about the 'fresh squeezed' orange juice.....

I ordered it the first morning in the OVC and was told by the server that it was fresh squeezed but then frozen 'because they don't have the ability to keep that many oranges fresh to squeeze on board'.....seriously? I did, however, enjoy cappuccino there every morning and it was excellent.

It should not be called fresh squeezed. I was also disappointed with the 'fresh pressed' juice I had to pay for in the Aqua Spa. It was poured from a large container instead of being freshly made. For $5 +, which wasn't included in the beverage plan, it should have been freshly done. .

  2. We did the St. Kitts Beach Break and had a totally different experience. We arrived there the next day after you. There were several ships in port thay day. We arrived later in the morning to a packed beach and coukd only get chairs right by the bar area in the last row . We could not get an umbrella as it was too crowded amd were not impressed with the beach other than the view. The bathrooms had no locks in stalls, no toilet paper or running water. As the saying goes, what a difference a day makes! Glad you had a better time!

  3. Wow. We were on the same cruise and had an entirely different experience. We had select dining at 6 every night and had the same table. We thought the gal seating us was somewhat stressed but efficient and friendly once she recognized us. We sat port side towards the rear at window and loved our wait staff. Darel, Alexes, Natalia and Juan were fabulous! Food was excellent although a couple times the food could have been hotter. I agree about the excursion staff and excursion experience. Unorganized. Our Concierge, Vanessa was wonderful and followed up with our issues to our satisfaction.

  4. Unless you plan on drinking a lot, 8 or 9 drinks a day all premium, it's not worth 11.80 each day. The up charge is usually a couple of dollars more for each drink. With that said, the premium package includes vitamin waters and better bnamr brand waters. The non premium water was just fine for us.

  5. SHIP: Silhouette

    CABIN #: 1655

    DECK #: 11

    CLASS: Concierge

    AREA: Port Side Aft

    BED NEAR: Balcony

QUIET?: Mostly. Occasional noise from cabin above around 11pm for a short time

    BALCONY VIEW: excellent. No obsructions

BALCONY SIZE: Adequate - plenty of room for footstools, adjustable chairs and table

WIND A PROBLEM?: Only if standing at rail on windy sea days

    SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Room was lovely, plenty of space for a scooter which we were concerned about. Lots of room for storage both in bathroom and in stateroom. Took the suggestion to bring storage bins for above the bed-- came in very handy. Fruit delivered every day. Safe had plenty of room. Drapes had some fraying and couch a little worn but very large. Bed very comfortable, very soft linens. Room kept immaculate.

  6. Does anyone know if the bed is by the balcony or the bathroom in this cabin? We will have a scooter for my husband during the cruise. Will it fit in the cabin without any issues of charging it at night?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
