We were on Rhapsody in April 2018, we were served family style and they encouraged us to get more of the items we liked. Much preferred this one over Chops.

I would love to see them bring Divina up to Tampa. The Seaside was fantastic but definitely wouldn't clear the bridge! Divina might though.
-
I wouldn’t say it will ruin your experience. We had a great time. But if you’re looking to feel like you’re on a luxury liner, you might be disappointed.
The service we received far outranked her physical flaws.

I agree, if it was my first impression.

For the central Florida locals we don’t mind late arrivals, sleep in, shower, breakfast, take time getting off...

Just left that exact cruise! Enchantment has been physically “let go.” Mostly external issues only. Rooms and venues were good but externally VARNISH badly needed to railings. Exterior flooring could also use help. Can’t comment too much to the exterior ship itself, i only left once to tender to Coco Cay.
Service wise i was was blown away. Service can be hit or miss but I didn’t run into any staff I didn’t like. They are making up on the inside what they’re missing on the outside.

We cruise on Monday just received the bid offer on Friday..... it’s Sunday morning i think we’re still on deck 2 with on ocean view.... happy to be sailing regardless.
-
I received an email today asking if I would like to bid for an upgrade. Â Anyone have experience with this?
-
Thank you!

There’s no roll call for this sailing. How can we set this up? All my cruises in the past have already been on the roll call list. 😒

I was on divina twice last year. We were fantastica balconies and had a great time. Leaving on seaside in 6 days, cant wait! Our last cruise was on Royal and i was disappointed after cruising with MSC.

My parents are black card, we booked two cabins. We were able to board early with them and also attend the black card event just not to take a chocolate ship, which honestly one was more than enough for all four of us... And we had two. We couldn't use their specialty dining benefits, at that time they both received dinner for two.

We booked the beverage package. While I think the package was still worth it for me, I do need to share one disappointment. On port days there was only one bar open till 3pm, the pool bar. So you have to go outside and upstairs to enjoy an early afternoon cocktail during trivia, or any other daytime activity inside. And at 3pm there was at least 10-15 people already waiting to get drinks. I realise Rhapsody is the smallest of the fleet but you still need to be a little more accomodating when you hear multiple people asking why there is only one bar open.
This same comment was shared by many more than myself. One guest joked he bought the 10 draft beer coupons but wasnt sure he would be able to use them all since he didnt drink what was draft at the pool bar and schooners didnt open till 3pm.:confused:😕

We are just recently off Rhapsody. Dined in Chops night one. It was a good experience, but after we dined in Giovannis the next night....Giovannis blew us away in service and food quality!

I see a few posts saying MSC will let you upgrade to deluxe for 26/pp/day. Anyone know if you can upgrade to the classic package? Im interested in upgrading but dont think my cabinmate would at that rate and since we both have to upgrade I'm checking my options. Thanks!

I remember back when envelopes were delivered to your cabin usually on the second to last day of the cruise. Each envelope labeled with cabin steward, waiter, busboy etc. A suggested daily dollar amount was in your cruise compass. But it was up to you who and how much each received. You then personally gave them their tips and thanked them for their service. I'm sure auto grat is cheaper for the cruise line, saves on all those envelopes, but there's more personable interaction the old way. I've been told auto gratis will not be removed till the last day of the cruise. In my opinion that's their way of deterring people from doing it. Nobody wants to wait in those lines!

SQ and SN our both interior state rooms both located on decks 2 and 3. We are an SQ 3657. My parents are diamond they were put in a large interior room on deck 2 near the front of ship. Im thinking SQ may be only share one wall based on other cabins....

Hi all, we're sailing Rhapsody in three weeks. Got an awesome deal and did run of the ship. Unfortunately we got our cabin assignments...not the best but given how much time you're in the room, we'll still have a great time. Does anyone know the difference between an SQ vs an SN?
-
We'll be on in three weeks, can't wait. Our last two were on MSC but couldn't pass up the great rate. We had to come back to RCL.
-
If you don't like the odds you shouldn't play....I'm going on my cruise to relax not worry about winning the cost back. Just saying cruising is about chilling out, not making a gain.

We just booked a "bogo" offer. We paid $40 pp. We can choose any two specialty restaurants but had to make our first reservation for night one and was told to make the second reservation once onboard.
-
On Divina the second person had to be from the same cabin. In our case my parents each received a voucher for 2ppl but we're not allowed to take me and my guest as we were in a different cabin, but on the same reservation/booking.

You have to have some significant amount of points with your current rewards program to get anything better than classic with MSC. However the fact that are willing to match another line is quite generous.

I think the 4:15 may be referring to the time you can get in your cabin. The initial boarding was a bit chaotic, lots of pushing and people just being plain rude. If you are traveling with a black card member, they do get to board first and you can go with them.
