We attempted to give the porters at the Port Everglades terminal $10 for 2 checked bags, he gave me a look that would kill, I was hoping that he would not lose our bags, lol.
I heard that you don’t tip at Port Everglades, is that true?

Hi, we are sailing out of Fort Lauderdale in November and we are coming from the great white north, Canada. We will already be wearing our winter coats and would like to know if anyone has ever used the airport lockers and if so how long can one use the lockers for?

That bed is so obviously bad, I’m surprised it wasn’t changed! Great pictures and thanks for posting this we are slated to go November 2018.

You went to a higher level person because you felt that a ship employee wasn't.being nice to his subordinate ?
Do you do this everyplace you go?
Are you in the habit of telling employers/supervisors that they aren't making nice to their employees?
How does this work out for them?

If I see an employee being mistreated, then yes I do. Sorry if you find my expectation of civility a problem for you. Having been in management I can tell you there are better ways of handling a problem than to lambaste an employee in private or public.

I actually saw a supervisor give a staff member heck on my very first cruise, I took my complaint to the appropriate person. I don't feel rudeness is appropriate anywhere.

On the Allure this past spring & couldn't disagree with you more. Our cabin steward was just great! Very personable, always greeted us by name, always smiling. Our dinners were always good too. There wasn't one meal that we didn't enjoy. While pool servers were not always around, walking to the bar to get a drink didn't take very long either.
Sorry you didn't enjoy this cruise. Alot of people never get to go on one, so be thankful you're one of the fortunate ones.

I for one don't want to pay higher rates for things I will never use. Such as a Rock Climbing Wall, Flo Rider, or an Ice Skating rink. All the extra comes with a price. so I am okay with Carnival sticking with what they have gotten right so far.
I totally agree with you!

From one Vancouverite, I'm sorry your embarkation was not a good experience. It's not usually that difficult here. Having sailed from our home port and returned to the same port we never experienced any troubles. I know that that weekend was a particularly busy one. But again, I hope you will accept our apologies. We really are a nice country.
Yes, getting taxis can be difficult and our traffic can be trying at the best of times. I hope you had a great cruise.
There is our version of light rapid transit called sky train. It goes directly from the waterfront to the airport. Ask anyone and they should be able to direct you.
