Sounds like quite a thrilling cruise. Exactly what fun ship is all about.
Definitely a “fun ship” and being the Halloween cruise their hashtag of #frightfullyfun certainly fit the occasion

You won't see the button on a mobile device but they fail to tell you that

How was the meet and mingle?
On the Dream in August it was nice, some of the crew and the CD showed up, had snacks and drinks in a private room just outside of one of the MDR's, it was nice.

Just off the Dream. They scheduled the Meet and Greet the night that we left. Almost seeing it in the paper. Not a good time for us to go. Carnival, I think, wishes CC would just go away.
Oh wow, I was on the Dream in August and it was the first night. The last night kind of defeats the purpose of meeting people.....

Question if any of you have done this beach day excursion, I currently have it booked, however I had hoped the chairs were reserved and mine for the day but it sounds like if I leave to go shop or eat and come back someone may have taken them over and the workers don't seem to care, has anyone found this to be true? Just curious.....

I thought I read somewhere that once the group is of 25 or more they will send out a confirmation email? Our group has been beyond 25 for a while now and I have not seen anything? Dream Aug 20th.

We have done a couple of the zip line tours thru RCI on Jamaica.
1. " Canopy" when we docked in Ocho Rios. It was our first one on this island, and we have done it on 2 separate cruises.
It was GREAT!!! The guides are awesome.
2. We did the one at "Chukka" linked to the tubing excursion and the zip line experience was a little disappointing. Only 7 runs little excitement.
3. We have done the one at "Rose Hall" twice and have had the time of our lives. Oh it is great, many long runs, and two surprises that are awesome!!!!
If you are able to get the one at Rose Hall you will not be disappointed.
Enjoy
Now over the years the price has increased.
The last time we sailed last year it was around $89 a person.
It seams it took us about 20 min to get there.
The longest distance was when we docked in Ocho Rios, that ride to the excursion was about 45 min.
Enjoy we do, and continue to do.
Safe travels.
I have been trying to find the one at Rose Hall, there are several zip lining excursions but none of them mention Rose Hall, any chance can you tell me where to find it or the name of that excursion/company?

Just wanted to re-iterate this fact: I'm a young adult. Unmarried. No kids. And I happen to like the no-kids aspect of Serenity.
I'm not in any "older" demographic whatsoever...so let's not suggest the only people who interested in having a no-kids area are older.
Exactly! Seems most think those of us that want the adult area must be ready for a retirement community, not even close! LOL

So for those that feel kids should have run of the ship as far as the outdoor areas, which is usually at least 2 pools and waterworks, and then also think for those of us that do not agree with this and that adults don't deserve their own pool, as it has been, but should just pick up and go to another cruise line.......how about you go to Disney Cruise Line! And from my understanding they even have adult only pools so my point is why shouldn't Carnival?! That still leaves the main pool and waterworks for kids! And before you say go on a ship with Serenity deck they don't all have one and the ones that do don't all have their own pool either!

I'm waiting for an update on Dream if anyone happens to know who the CD will be through the summer, otherwise the most recent schedule only goes through June 4th.....

Not sure. I got mine at the casino bar. It was a sea day and the special ended at noon. I ordered a Bloody Mary with grey goose. Bartender told me about the double shot special with belvedere. I told him I was on cheers. He told me it was covered. I asked if it counted as two drinks. He said no...so I got it...and I went to the same bartender before noon to get another. :D
Good to know, first I have seen that "special" mentioned I'll be on the lookout for that [emoji4][emoji484] Thanks

On my last cruise there was a day when they had a special 2 for 1 belvedere vodka. I was able to get double shot bloody Mary's that only counted as one drink.
Just curious, was this "special" throughout all the bars or one in particular?

Well for my upcoming cruise in August I went with the Dream, however, I still would like to book a shorter cruise on one of these in January and hoping I might be able to get a discount or OBC if I book while on the Dream......Fantasy has Serenity and Triumph has balconies......decisions.
