Thank you! And glad to hear you like our nanaimo bars😋

We dock in Juneau on a Wednesday and leave for our tour immediately. We don't get back to the ship until 6:00 pm. Will any of the stores still be open, as we would really like to look around the town and 6:00 pm will be our first chance to do this.Â
Thank you for any info that can be provided.

This is something I would definitely use on the cruise!
-
Thank you so much. You have saved me much aggravation 😀

I am trying to set up my account on the Navigator right now, but it doesn't seem to work. Is this something that has to be done on the ship or very close to cruising time? I am still a month away from our cruise.Â
By the way, that was an excellent review/information on this feature.Â

Thanks for posting that. So good to know!
-
Thank you. I keep looking for it on the web-page. You just saved me some time. I will book it when I get on the ship!
-
Thanks. That was a great review. I , too, am interested in the week long pass at the spa. Is it only possible to get those on the ship, as I don’t see them advertised on the HAL webpage.

Thank you. I find the format of these boards and forums and threade, etc, to be extremely frustrating to navigate. I think I will use your suggestions to just google or use trip advisor. Those..I know how to work :)
We will be on the cruise to Alaska at the beginning of May also. Maybe the same one as you!

For ship tours, don't miss one of the White Pass Railroad excursions in Skagway.
Â
In Victoria, BC either Butchart Gardens or Victoria Pedicab (Private).
Â
I live on Vancouver Island very near Victoria. If anyone has any questions about tours there, I would be happy to help. Butchart Gardens is beautiful and in my opinion, worth the money.

Yes, thank you. I think I have posted there now. I’ve had many frustrations learning how to post on these boards, and truthfully still not sure what I am doing, but with advice from you and others I am making a little headway! Thanks again.

We will be going to Alaska on the Westerdam in early May. Can someone please give me their opinion on the quality of the evening shows. Much appreciated!

We went to San Fran in September on RC. My husband and I both thought all of the perfomers were very good. We really looked forward to the evening shows. They were quite impressive. Hoping we would get lucky again!

We will be on the Westerdam to Alaska on May 6th. Can anyone tell me what the quality of their shows are like. I went years ago and didn’t think much of them, but I’m optimistic things have changed :D
-
Thanks! I think I am going to like the Anytime Dining!
-
Oh, thanks. Didn’t think to look at the date. Quite new to this.
-
How did you find the quality of the shows. We are going on the same ship to Alaska in May and I was curious about how good the shows were. Thanks!
-
Thanks Trish. Yes, we could go earlier if we find it too busy at 6:30.
-
Thank you. That was my first question posted and have to say, I love this forum. I could never have found those answers on the HAL webpage. Thank you both very much!

We will be on the Westerdam in early May. We could not get traditional seating but have been given anytime dining. I’m fine with sitting with new people every night, and having new waiters. I just hate lining up for things. Does anyone know if we will have to wait a long time for a table, or is it quite quick. We usually like to eat about 6:30.
Thanks!
