Curious if you can do excursions with a child in the baby club? Last cruise I went with my grandson they said I could leave him onboard and do stuff. But did an excursion with him (he was 7) this year thinking of taking all the kids/grandchildren and wanted to do Stingray city, but the 2 yr old is a bit young for that.

What reason did they give for moving both ocean cay days to the end? I'm on next week and liked tge idea of 2 separate days at beginning and end of cruise.

What time did the ship leave Miami?

I think Monday they started a sailor balconies for Oceanview price, I just booked Oceanview the day before so I called them and the lady said they were in the process of moving the Oceanview passengers to balconies but assisted me on getting mine changed. If you booked an Oceanview recently I'd suggest calling and making sure they switch you.

& I can’t find any videos or pics of the open stair space next to it. Wondering if this area gets crew hanging out to talk/smoke at all hours.
I saw a video that had that area shown on deck 12 of the divina, its around the 6min mark of the video

I'm vaccinated and going on a cruise in the Baltic Sea in 5 weeks. Does the above mean that you as a passenger can see who is vaccinated/immune and who is not when on board?
On one hand it is personal information, on the other hand I would feel safer if I could try to steer clear of the un-vaccinated when on board.NO, you will not be able to see who is vaccinated and unvaccinated on the U.S. sailings you will only be able to see who has chosen to disclose the personal information and prove they were vaccinated. If someone does not choose to show they are vaccinated, they can still go on the ship etc and will have to follow the unvaccinated protocols. It will depend on if they choose to disclose the personal information. They do not force anyone to disclose anything they do not wish to.

I haven't stayed in those cabins, but there are videos online that show them. The balconies are very small from what I've seen.

I don't know why they have the Cayman islands on any itinerary before January 27 as that is the earliest they're allowing cruise ships there according to this. https://www.grandcaymanvillas.net/blog/coronavirus-update/ here's the part I'm referring ro from that:"
Full Reopen – Effective TBD
- ∗ The government will reassess the COVID-19 pandemic by January 27, 2022, to determine feasibility of further relaxation of travel and entry restrictions.
- ∗ If the green-light is given, quarantine restrictions may be eliminated for all arrivals, regardless of vaccination status.
- ∗ A reintroduction of limited cruise ship tourism may also be possible"

How would you go about signing up for a meet and greet?or is it in the daily planner you get once onboard?

Currently alot of cruises on msc divina or meraviglia have no solo supplement to the end of the year, after that it's hit or miss. I got a February 6th cruise with no single supplement. The deal was good enough that it made me decide to travel solo. It'll be my 1srsolo Cruise. Kinda unsure how much I'm going to enjoy it.

From what I have seen, most (not all) of the negative reviews were just after it started sailing til around spring of last year. I believe for entertainment they only seemed to have opera. and they switched the lower level buffet to a dinner area for bella guests which bothered both the bella guests and those who prefer to eat at the buffets for dinner and an odor coming from somewhere( again no 1st hand knowledge just what I've read/surmised) . It appears since enough people gave negative reviews that the seaside took notice, updated the entertainment, changed to 3 dining times to accomodate all passengers in the regular dining rooms, updated the food in the buffets and found and fixed the odor issue. and since then the majority of the reviews have been very positive. so if your worried about the reviews. Id suggest looking at reviews from about June 2018 and forward, that seems to be about the time they fixed all the quirks in the ship. You will still get a few negative reviews but probably more inline with the comparison of the other lines. and I'm sure in the long run they will be far more positive than negative.

Thanks for the reply, I will be going on the seaside
which is docked from 5pm -1am so I figured the time would be good. I also booked for the closest to the new moon. Only things I wasn't sure about was the distance from the port, is their a closer bio bay to the port that would be more viable or should I look for an alternative plan?

We are stopping in san juan in the msc seaside from 5pm to 1 am and was hoping to do a bio bay tour in a boat instead of kayak, but either way does anyone know of an excursion from the ship port that I can book this through?

I am on the ship also and found it odd, but being it's my first cruise I figured I'd see what everyone else says about it.
