  1. We will be sailing on Oasis next week and first stop is Bahamas. So far I found either Melia or Hilton resort day passes that seem to fit the bill. My husband and I have a 24 months old and a teenager. I am thinking of a relaxing beach day for the toddler and myself and hubby and teen son go out for some water activities such as snorkeling.

Which day pass would you recommend?

  2. You don't select any option. I believe right above the section that you quoted there is a statement that is something to the effect of "non-US credit card holders" check the preferred box below.

As you are in the US with a US credit card you do not have to do anything.

    Thank you!!!

I went back and took another look. Sure enough - it does not even apply to us. I should have paid more attention!

  3. I noticed these 2 checkboxes on my SetSail pass. Pros and cons of either? I am using my credit card to fund the expense account.

    • I choose to pay my onboard charges in the currency of my card. I choose to use Royal Caribbean International's currency conversion program. This currency conversion transaction is based on wholesale exchange rates collected from Bloomberg plus a 3 percent international currency conversion fee. My choice to have charges billed in the currency of my card is final. I accept that the exchange rate used will be the rate in effect at the time the amounts are charged to my card.
    • I choose to have my credit card issuer convert my onboard charges to the currency of my card in lieu of participating in the Royal Caribbean International currency conversion program.

    Thanks.

  4. St. Thomas, perhaps Coki beach since it is directly next to Coral World Ocean park. There is lots of shade and it is similar to an aquarium both in set up, cost etc. Plus you can spend a few hours at the beach. There are tons of cabs to and from the port so that's a nonissue.

For St. Maarten, hmm, maybe Maho beach to see the planes land. There is a beach grill there. The beach is a bit slim and it can be packed. Also, the planes may be scary or very cool (they will be loud and windy). There are lots of cabs there so transportation is easy. Marigot on the French side has a nice walking area with lots of shopping stalls, drink stands, and I believe there is a public beach there (double check though). This is where you should go for a taste of the island food.

Nassau is the easiest, day tickets to Atlantis. It's well maintained and commercial, but your little one will enjoy the shark tanks, sting rays, etc. Plus there is air conditioning in the buildings.

    Thank you so much!
