We'll be on the gem in a couple months, can you post your dailies and menus as you go along?
I'm posting the dailies when I get home

How's the waterslide by the pool? I haven't seen a report since the multiple complaints about it being under repair.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
It's nothing special' date=' but it's only open for about 2 hours a day

Slide is same as before the repair. It is not steep and people/kids still had to help themselves go down the slide. It also had limited hours when we went in Dec.
They did hold quite a few pool deck BBQs though.
The slide was only open 2 hours a day. Very odd

Hello ... watching the Gem pull into PC, looks early under cloudy skies. How was the ride down, moderate chops while at sea ?
GSC might be 50:50 tomorrow with T-Storm forecasted for Nassau, hope all those onboard can get ashore by safely tendering. Have a Plan B ?
Has the Gem roll out the new 3-tier WiFi internet plan yet ?? Or, still on the minutes and unlimited plan ? (As FYI - GSC has cellular coverage (roaming) and paid WiFi signal via the Gem, when we're docked there this May ... enjoy)
Enjoy your day in Florida & safe cruising
The ride was pretty rocky. I didn't like it too much. We made it to GSC, it was really hot with no wind at all. It's still on minutes

You pay for a clam shell on board at the shore excursion desk. You will also a get priority tender. Once you are on GSC walk to the area where the clam shells are located. (there were 3 areas in Feb. 2016), pick the one you want (recommend one with mesh) show the attendant your voucher and enjoy!
Thank you!! I will definitely be doing that on my cruise next week

Just be aware if you're at port and use your UBP, you will get drink tax by whatever port you're in. It's not a lot, but you should still be conscious of it

If you guys are all in the same cabin everyone has to have the UBP.

Might as well make that one cruise a long one.

Not as weird as some of the above but....people asking the cast of Million Dollar Quartet if they play their own instruments [emoji450]!

That's almost as bad as "how do I know which pictures are mine?"

On our recent cruise on the Getaway, there was a couple, I'd guess them to be in their early 40s, who took small stuffed bears with them everywhere. I saw the bears sitting out by the pool, pretending to eat at Savor, greeting the captain at the Latitudes party, etc. My parents overheard them tell someone that the bears were over 20 years old and had recently gotten new shirts for this cruise.
That's adorable

we always park at the pier. if you are on Gem, there is a 10% off parking coupon.
Is this coupon recent?

I went on a cruise on carnival when I was 12 (I'm almost 18). What my family would do is we'd all do our own thing during the day and then we'd all have dinner together. It was a good way to check in on everyone without being overbearing.
