  1. We just came back and had booked this same thing. A few tips.. Get off the ship as early as possible to catch the first round of shuttles to Atlantis. By the time you get there and go through the slow walk to the pool - it feels like ions. Do everything you can to avoid needing a locker, the most inefficient process EVER! One person and a massive line of people needing a locker, it was a waste of at least 30 min. The Lazy river is amazing, go from Enterance 1 to Exit 9, have a blast =).

Great thanks. Those are great tips. Did you guys use a locker? If not, what did you do with your stuff?

  2. The excursion shuttle is for those returning with the group.

Taxi shuttles may be available when you are ready to leave, they are $4 pp and wait until they get filled up. Otherwise, you'll need to get a regular taxi - $13 for 2 ppl, $3 for ea. add'l person in your party.

But I’m part of the excursion just the 9:30am to 2:30pm group, I don’t know if there is a second group, but if there is could I catch the shuttle back with them or is my only option to get back a taxi?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I have everything clear and know my options.

  3. Once you have your wristband, you are free to find your own ride back. There are cabs waiting at the exits. Be aware that traffic backs up on the bridge going back starting around 4...and you have to be back ONBOARD by 4:30, so you will have to be in a cab and heading back by 3:40 pm.. not a lot of extra time

I was informed there was a shuttle. Do you know anything about that? Is that true?

  4. If it's a tendered port you'll get a notice in your mailbox that will tell you where to muster on the ship for your excursion. On Pride back in July we had a cabana at HMC and recvd a notice to muster in the Taj Mahal. We also had FTTF, and that notice told us to muster in the Butterflies Lounge - both groups were on the first tender. Otherwise, if you're moored to a pier, you'll be told where to meet your group (ex. Grand Turk excursions meet in a large courtyard that you'll find yourself in after you go through the duty free shop. There will be folks holding signs for the different groups).

Oh okay that makes sense. So I’m thinking I really don’t need Faster to the Fun lol

  5. There is seldom a need to be "1st off" at any port. We generally eat a leisurely breakfast, then head to the tender...and get on the next one. Let the "hurry ups" go, and then it's easy-peezy!

Yeah you are right. I’m just worried though cause we have an excursion booked. Do they let people with excursions off before everyone else?

  6. Not at dumb question at all. TTY is "teletypewriter" and used in connection with phones to type and receive messages to the party on the other line. Mainly used in the 20th century for hard of hearing and deaf people, but with the advent of today's technology with text and e mail it's pretty much an obsolete machine.

I've never used them, but seen people who do and it's not needed for room service through the tv. I'm sure you just use the tv remote for that. My PVP is having it placed in my cabin if I need to contact Guest Services for anything, but I probably won't even use it, but good to have anyway.

Oh,okay. Thank you for answering my question. I didn't know that.

  7. PVP just got back to me again..(she's so quick!!)

"WOW new feature we just got. Yes you can order from the TV on the Liberty. You also are set up with the TTY that you can use for any request you should need"

So it's a brand new feature and probably why it's still not on all ships. Hopefully others here will check it out while sailing and report back here.

Sorry, this may be a dumb question. But, What's a TTY? Do you have to get that just to order room service through the TV?
