In the past I always had ice brought to cabin twice a day in morning when they made up room, and evening turn down. Without evening turn downs can I still get them to bring ice?

Can you get room service on departure day before you disembark?

15 day...loved it!  10-11 days is optimal for me.  7 days is just too short, but better than no cruise at all!

My DH and I have done this on a previous NCL cruise 2 years ago.  We just told them not to open it as we were taking it back to our cabin.  Unless they have changed the rules it shouldn't be a problem. 

Just booked 150 days!

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – overall yes, but did hear pool chairs above early every morning. Didn't last long, but would wake light sleeper.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - yes, not opened and no noise.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – great view no obstructions

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal good size

Was wind a problem? - no

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? -

Any specific problems with this cabin? -

Overall good location. Furniture and mattress very worn in severe need of replacement.

Since you are driving to the prost just take a small suitcase with you. It's easy to pull two suitcases (I am in 60's and I have done it) I did need a little help from DD when I brought back all sorts of heavy pottery from Mexico and had it in big Ikea bags plus one suitcase.

I have 2 other bags as well, that was just the big one...Lol!

I just weighed my packed suitcase and it is 56lbs. Are they very strict about luggage weight?

I just spoke with a rep. They indicated that they will automagically credit the difference as onboard credit.

 

I explained that I thought the computer would go into thermal overload when it tried to figure out how to apply a credit to an item that is no longer available (18 pack). Would they just give me the 24 pack at the 18 pack price along with a credit? Would they show up with a 12 pack? Would nothing happen?

 

I wrote a note to my PCC to handle.

 

I don't care about the couple of bucks difference, I want the water.

When printing Edocs do I need to print one for each of us, or just one copy since both names are on it?

I say today is over, so 8 days it is until my first NCL on the Gem!

We went in May in I think 2008 and there was a heat wave. The locals in Juneau were all complaining it was too hot in upper 70's! We were at Glacier Bay in short sleeve t-shirts on our balconies. It was great!
