I just booked this for our April 2019 cruise. When I first looked the prices were really high, so booked something else. The price dropped a lot so we booked.
-
We booked refundable originally but when a sale came it was 250 cheaper to book the nom refundable and we then hit another sale and saved another 200 plus some obc. If air fare is too high we will just drive down. We are going April 2019

We fly from DTW to FLL several times a year. Prices vary quite a bit, depending on the day, time, etc. We have purchased for as little as $250 rt. Currently looking at next April. Prices are currently showing about $700 rt.
I will be looking for end of april

What kinds of things are you looking to see, and how long will you have to see them?
I'm hoping to get a earlier flight so we can get there by noon. I know our room probably won't be ready and I'm ok with that. I just want somewhere to walk around maybe go to the beach. I don't want to have nothing around.

I was just trying to get a feel for what people have paid. I know the prices are out, just doing some research, I don't find it wasting my time.

Easter in 2019 is April 21st.
OP is cruising 04/27(?). Airfare is probably never going to be cheap for that date. The school districts here have that week off.
We will be flying down on the 27th

That's what I am afraid of. Hotels are pricey that's for sure.
-
I have a bit of time since we aren't going until April, but what's a good price for Detroit to FLL, I know by next month prices will come out for the bigger airlines and not awhile for southwest and such.

We are travelling April 2019 and trying to find Hotels that don't break the bank and have things to see around them. I'm looking at pier 66, galleryone, riverside and possibly Hilton Marina though it doesnt get the best reviews. I like they are in areas where we can walk around and see things. Anyone have experience with all or any of them. Right now these rooms are under 250 usd and others are way more.

Suggest you see how Priceline prices things.
Early April will be very high...late April, after the 20th or so, should be more reasonable.
Thank you I will check it out.

I have started pricing out hotels for next April when we sail on Harmony. I'm floored by the cost. Is it always that expensive in April. I'm canadian so have the exchange as well . I see everyone recommends the Embassy but it's over 300 before taxes. I would like to be near things to see. We are looking at the pier sixty six. I don't want to be in the middle of nowhere and would like to walk around. Also looking at Riverside Hotel.

I'm wondering if someone who is American can tell me what the price for your speciality restaurants are. I can only see what the Canadian price is and wondering if I should book something to lock in the rate. My obc is worth 128.12 canadian for a 100 USD.

We booked a central park balcony and it said we get lunch for 2. Where does it show that on the cruise planner. It also says we get a bottle of red wine. Does it have to be red.
-
We were in a central park interior and upgraded to a central park balcony and it was 142 cheaper.
-
We did the bus both ways. It was a amazing. Our guide stopped so many times to take pictures of things. We were so close to a bear.

In Ketchikan my husband and son went fishing for salmon. It was then brought to the ship and we had for dinner. Myself and my 2 kids who were 8,9. We just walked around the port and did sighting that way. Juneau we did the mendahall glacier hiking, skagway we did a Yukon bus tour and it was everyone's favourite from our larger group. Besides the fishing, my husband and son liked that the most.

We went in July and took hats mitts and waterproof jackets. We had a couple days with rain and it was windy so it was very chilly. Don't forget your binoculars, lots of wild life we seen.
-
We felt Movement only on our first and last day when we were out further in the ocean. When in the inside passage it was smooth sailing. I did take some gravel, but maybe that's because I had never cruised.
-
My friend is on that cruise and said before they got to port and traveling she couldn't sleep on her side cause she would get rolled to her back from movement.
-
We will also be in San Juan during those hours for our cruise. I was worried we wouldn't see much of the forts since it's such a short time. What time do stores open. I know the forts open at 9

We are sailing on the harmony in April 2019 so we have a while. We are staying on deck 9 in one of the central park interior views not balcony. Right now we have 75obc, today I looked and if we book non refundable it's $285 cheaper plus the one is 100. Should I jump on this or stay with my refundable rate and wait and see if that goes lower. I don't plan on canceling but there is that safety net if I need to. 285 is a good savings. Especially when we have to pay for everything in usd(flights, hotel) and we are Canadian.

Just a question about cancelling and rebooking. Can they apply the money to the new packages or does it get refunded to cc and new amount taken off. I can see as a canadian losing money in the exchange if rates are different.
