What is the the easiest way to depart from seatle port if you have trouble walking? I understand Uber pickup is a shuttle away. Where is seatle express or taxi pickup? We have luggage and are going to hotel.
Thanks

Thanks for your help! We had to try a few different versions but we have it working! I'm sure this will make the cruise easier!
It's amazing how helpful CC members are!

What version of Android is your phone running? As others have said, you don't really need a phone, but if you want to use the app, you can install an older version of the Navigator App. That's what I do.
If you can tell me what version of Android you are using I will see if I can send you the link for a compatible version of Navigator App. Just be sure you don't update it because you'll be back to square one.
System 9
Thanks for your help!

They are moto g6 phones (android). They are older but this is the first app that hasn't worked.
Thanks for the info that our keycard will let us on excursions.
Guess it's time to get new phones when we return!

Has anyone found a work-around for cell phones that are not compatible with the Navigator app. We leave in a week and it's late to upgrade our phones. Looks like everything is on the app and they don't print excursion tickets.
Any suggestions?

If you buy AARP gift cards, add them to your on board account for dinners and excursions, but end up not spending it all, can you get a refund? How would they do it, refund to gift card, refund to a credit card, or what?
Thanks

I 100% agree with skipping Seattle. I was very let down by my trip there. Whistler is a beautiful drive, but I have never been there in the summer so not sure it would be the same experience. The ski village was awesome in the winter! Washington/OR/NoCal coast are all beautiful and worth the road trip.
Agree with Whistler. Spent four days there in June last year instead of staying in Vancouver. We didn't have a car but there is a bus from both airport or downtown to get there and the town is very walkable. Lots of hiking and bus system gets you to areas further out of town.

Last may we did a long cruise on princess with both non- and refundable OBC. We used all the non-refundable and were told we would receive a check by mail for the $200 refundable.
After a few months, no check!
Checking with both TA and princess, they gave me the contact for the company they outsource this with. I called many times over the last year. Put on long holds, and left multiple messages. Never got a hold of anyone or a return call.
Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know a solution to get my credit back?
Thanks,
Karen

We did the expedition cruise with hurtigruten to the Scottish islands in may and we loved it! The weather in may was wonderful and the crew couldn’t have been better. We did all the included excursions., although there were other interesting trips offered each day, so we wish we had two days in each port to do everything. The Expedition staff were very knowledgeable and loved to engage with the passengers. Additional presentations on board kept us very busy.
The cabins, unless you book a suite, are very small and beds could be better but it was an educational trip not a traditional cruise and we loved it and were very glad we went. I would book another one without any hesitation. We were on Maud.
Let me know if you gave any questions.

I've been searching online and have found this, not sure how up-to-date info is -
Taxi - The official fixed rate for Zeebrugge to Bruges is € 50
Cruise Express (shuttle to town) - € 20 return
https://www.cruise-express.be/en/Just did cruise express today to Bruges. Dropped off where all the buses park so its a little walk to the center of town but taxi can go right into center, if you want to pay the extra. Had a wonderful day, be sure you do a canal cruise!

We actually booked the remote islands cruise for May 22. Never been on hurtigruten trip but it looked very interesting. We booked on the Norwegian website and got a 2 for one deal. (Something else we have never done, we usually use travel agent for cruises). We were already spending time in England so we thought we would try it! I can report back when we return.

Just spent a few days in Vancouver and Victoria. We rook the ferry to Victoria from Vancouver, and stayed two nights. We then took the public bus to the gardens, ($5 all day ticket) so we could spend as much time as we wanted. We missed going to the butterfly garden on the same bus route but others enjoyed that too. Really enjoyed Victoria and wish we had spent more time there

I saw a posting that Peru was preventing cruise ships from docking if there is any Covid cases on board. We are on a Lima to B.A. cruise starting Nov.19 with one other stop in Peru. Anyone have any further info on this? Has anyone needed a covid test lately before boarding in Lima? I realize this is the beginning of cruising season in south america so this may be changing.
Thanks,
Karen

If you get covid on board the ships, is paxlovid available to be prescribed by the ship's doctors.
Thanks,

We are on an Alaska cruise out of Vancouver. Anyone have a suggestion to spend the day after we get off the ship in Vancouver? Our return flight is at 11pm. We had planned to do princess 's hop on bus but recent reviews are really bad. Anyone use it recently?
We found a tour to whistler but that' the only all day tour we found. We are spending a few days precruise in Victoria and Vancouver so we hopefully will have done most touring in vancouver
Thanks

WE also planned to use the hop on/off bus to fill the day after we get off the ship. We have until 11pm to wait for our plane! The recent reviews sound horrible.
I found a day trip up to Whistler but haven't found any other trips that we can take our luggage and get dropped at the airport. Any suggestions?

Thanks for taking the time to post a great review. we're on our first regent this fall and enjoy reading about what to look forward to

I started a Rollcall for this cruise hoping we might find a few more! Right now there are 6 of us. I just started trying to decide what we should do. I will post under the roll call if I find small group tours,if you are interested in joining. Please let me know if you find anything besides what the boat offers.
Thanks,
