We were on Bliss in 2018, and will be sailing on her again in November. I'll have a go at some of your questions...anybody else chime in if things have changed recently. Shows in the theater, comedy club, and music venues are free (just get there early for best seating choices. Water slides are free. Local bar and grill are free ( except ice cream sundaes). Teppanyaki is a specialty restaurant, use your specialty dining credit, or pay a la carte. Don't know the difference in the cabins, we usually pick a standard balcony. Shows start around 7ish. Spa I have no idea as I've never used it. Hope that helps!

Any recommendations for a pre cruise hotel in LA? We're on Biss out of LA Nov 13. We'll be flying in on the 11th (2 day deviation....I don't trust the airlines to get us and the bags there together....built in extra time)

Just got off Pearl this morning, not all the bars were open, but we had no problems getting drinks. Entertainment was canceled (no shows, bingo etc.) But the sun was out for those who worship the sun god

On the Pearl right now as we can see Miami through the fog. When we booked and sailed on this cruise we knew this could happen, we are fine with it. I am getting a full cash refund plus FCC equal to what I paid for this trip. We had 4 days at sea, on a cruise to nowhere and have had a ball. In fact, a beautiful rainbow just appeared. As far as limiting capacity...there are 846 passengers and 1040 crew aboard

Sailing on the 3rd on the Pearl out of Miami. No plans to cancel unless our pre-test or pre-cruise test come back positive. Pre-test done yesterday, should have results before we have to leave for the port ( 8 hrs drive)

We were on Bliss pre-covid the first time we went to Nassau, and there were 5 megaships in Port, and you could not do anything, everything was too crowded. We went back to Nassau on the Gem in September and were the only ship in and had a completely different experience. Nassau is a really nice town ( when the number of tourists is limited)

I lived in Key West for 14 years. When you get 3 ships in it is impossible to do anything on the island. Keep in mind the whole place is 8 square miles with 25,000 year round residents and 3.5 million tourists coming and going ( yes....these are real numbers). Key West had a referendum and voters wanted to ban large ships in favor of smaller, cleaner ships but the state legislators blocked that with laws saying the city cannot stop them from coming.

Our B2B Asia cruises were cancelled on March 6th. We used 2 cruise next certificates on each cruise (4 total), now only 1 cruise next certificate shows up on my account, and the 10% FCC we are supposed to get on each of the cruises is nowhere to be seen, and of course the agent can't figure out what happened.......don't hold your breath waiting for any FCC to show up

We were booked on Spirit B2B Feb-March 2021, I was going to cancel it over the weekend (just hadn't gotten time to do it earlier). Well, NCL cancelled the cruise on Friday, and is giving deposit back (that's all we paid so far) plus 10% off a future cruise, so I guess dragging my feet paid off in this case.

Harvest Caye is fake Belize, take the ferry over to Placencia to see real Belize (it's an eye-opener) . Ferry leaves from the same dock as the shore excursions, and only takes 10 minutes or so. You may be able to get ferry tickets from the shore excursion desk on the ship. If I recall right it was only a few dollars

My understanding is if the booking is a least 6 months out, balcony or higher, you can use 2 cruise next certificates

When we were on Bliss early Dec 2018, 5 ships in port that day, busses were a hot mess, went to see the aquarium at Atlantis, had to stay with the tour group, got to see nothing since the crowds were so bad, just did not seem worth it

Way back in the dark ages, I went on a cruise (the ship was the Norway). I was 19 and my boyfriend was 20, no problems, drinking and casino allowed once we were in international waters. A lot has changed in the last 33 years.

I live in Key West, and you can spot the cruise ship passengers a mile away....they are the only ones wearing lanyards downtown

We Were booked on a B2B cruise Feb 28- March 27, 2021.......Singapore to Hong Kong, then Hong Kong to Tokyo......so yeah, we cancelled, now looking at Hawaii and Alaska. This was a bucket list cruise, but SE Asia isn't going anywhere and will still be there in 2022, 2023 etc.

Yes, but cabin steward now has more cabins to clean with the "extra time" that is not being spent on towel animals thus fewer cabin stewards on each cruise = 1 or 2 fewer salaries to be paid

Under Restrictions it says you must choose the shareholder benefit and any other offer. Is the Free at Sea considered another offer? In other words...can I use the shareholder benefit and still keep the free at sea offers? We are doing a back to back Asia cruise in 2021, and my son is going on a cruise in January, we are both shareholders, my son says you can't keep both, but I'm wondering if they can be used together. Thanks

Just rebooked our Feb-March back to back Asia 2021 (27 days total) cruises. Difference of$3000.

OMG--- DO NOT DRIVE YOURSELF IN ST. THOMAS!!!! We just got back from our cruise this past Saturday. The drivers in St. Thomas were insane. Please just hire one of the guys just outside Havensight to drive you around, it will be much safer since they are used to driving in the insane asylum, and know where they are going, and are used to driving on the opposite side of the road than you are used to.

Cruiseoutlook.com can tell you what ships are expected and approx number of people in port.
We just got back from Nassau, there were three other ships there and the excursion to the aquarium at Atlantis was so ridiculously crowded we only saw a couple of fish, not worth the time or money.
