This is my first cruise out of Cape Liberty and have a few questions.
If you park your car in the lot/garage how far a walk is it to the entrance for check in?
We want to carry on our suitcase which are each 23 and 1/2 in by 16 and 1/2 in. Will they fit thru their scanners?
If we have to check the luggage do I drop off my husband with the luggage and go park? Is it easy to find the entrance to the garage?
Thanks
Joanne

Is there free parking at the memorial or is it close enough to walk?

Thanks for all the responses.

Can anyone tell me there are public computers for use on the Adventure for checking mail, Etc.?
-
Do they have a room with public computers that one can use on board.
-
Thanks, It looks like we will have to hire a taxi to see both.
-
Can I take any of the ferries and get within short walking distance to either of the lighthouses? Also would like to include seeing a pink sand beach.
Thanks

Have not been on Royal in many many years. Can someone tell me if there is a room on this ship with computers that the passengers can use. I do not want to have to carry on any of my devices. Would their packages cover these computers? All I want to be able to do is access Facebook.
Thanks for your help

We have been driving down from Cleveland for many many years and have always parked at the terminal. Very convenient and gets us back on the road towards home very early especially when combined with express disembarkation from the ship. Even if Princess returns to a different terminal they will have a shuttle that takes you there. If 17th St is congested you can always enter on Eller Drive off Route 1. The price they charge is worth it in my opinion.

We take the Florida Turnpike to Fort Pierce then I95 the rest of the way.

We always eat at Duffy's the night before out cruise leaves. They have good food and 2 for 1 drinks all day. We signed up for their perk card and got an email good for $20. the next time we ate at their restaurant. Planning on going there again on Nov 13.

I read this in the Travel Summary that Princess puts out on their website. Also got an email from my travel agent with the same information.
This will be our 9th Princess cruise and never heard of this before.

Just read that boarding is by cabin floors. For those of you who traveled this year how strict are they in following this. If you are platinum or elite does it still apply?
-
I have been on 9 Princess cruises and not one was bad in any way. Other than seeing a change in the food offerings we always have a great time, staff was attentive, etc.
I believe people go on cruises with certain expectations and if they are not met they start complaining.

What if any thing is Princess doing for its customers on these anniversary cruises this year?
Any special mememtos, etc.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

My husband broke his leg about a month ago and just got the cast off and is doing therapy. We are not Platinum to get priority boarding and the FTTF is already sold out. I know he won't be able to walk the distance and stand in long lines. Do I have any options?

Thank you very much for the thorough cruise review. I enjoyed reading it but must admit I am a little afraid to get off the ship in Belize. We will be on the June 8 sailing. We were there in 2011 and went to the same ruins. All we had were tons of mosquitos. This time we are hoping to spend time shopping at the pier.
-
Can anyone withe experience parking at Carnival's terminal in Tampa tell me should you book and pay for the garage online or is there plenty of spaces and not a problem. We usually get to the pier by 11 - 12 noon. There will be two cars with us.
Also any suggestions for a hotel close by that is economical, bug free and away from unsavory areas?
THanks

We went on Carnival in 1991 and 1995. Both time we had a paper card that we used to get on and off the ship, but a separate room key.
-
I have ordered tours before the cruise and paid for them on the ship with you settle up with the ship before disembarkation.
